Sunday the wife and I went to craft show it was a good day together. When I was leaving they were having people drive off the curve where they had put a small metal ramp. The car in front of me about took off its front and read bumper, so I turned to go back the way I had got in. A cop staring yelling on his PA at that I have to go off the curb, I rolled down the window so he yells agin I must go down the curb. So I yell back Not this car, It won't make it!! As I drove off I heard him say "OK" :frown2:
It's funny now with everyone posting mileage.... I used to do that. But now mileage means nothing on my car. Mileage on WHAT? The body shell? The motor? The transmission? The odometer? The body shell didn't have an odometer in it when I bought it. The last title showed about 80k miles, but also had an asterisk for "odometer discrepancy", so NO TELLING how many miles that had. The motor has 200 miles on it. The transmission and odometer and ECU have about 80k miles (from the GP). Some parts from my old cabrio will have 150k+ miles. Most of the suspension, wheel bearings, wheels, etc. will be brand new. Sooooooo......
Took my beloved R50 out for a spin today...looks like the CVT is about to go...couldn't get it to shift and it has no power. :cryin:
Side note: picked these up today for the garage. Incredibly easy install and serves my needs for now.
:rolleyes5: I'll be looking for another CVT to put inside. Putting in a stick would probably ruin the interior and that, along with the exterior, is what makes the car so rare. Oh well, it's only money.....:rolleyes5:
Savvy, are those the only lights on in your garage? If so two sets of those would suit my needs perfectly! Then its just adding a couple heat lamps over the tables... And taking my air system to a more professional level... Surge tanks new primary and secondary regulators, better filtration system, bigger water separators, hard lines for some of it, new hoses for the rest, oh and actually building a room in the shop for the compressor... Nothing major! Its time to get serious, what can I say...
