I've been thinking of moving my air compressor to an attached shed outside the back of my garage. It would be for noise mitigation and to free up a little more room inside the garage.
Yes. I purposefully unscrewed the light bulb from the garage door opener to show just their output. If I remember later, I'll snap a pic of the installation guides that shows the light pattern they put out for your information. I'll even snap a pic of how simple the hardware is for install. The only thing you'll need to grab for hanging them, is a pack of eyelet screws.
Does it freeze where you are? You need to put on an automatic drain if it does or you'll get ice. Plus too and also, it's moist up there - you probably get a lot of water in the system, so you might need a dryer...... You might also need a multi-grade oil - mine will hardly start on a cold day in the garage. I'm moving mine into the basement, where the temps and humidity are even year round.
It rarely freezes and when it does, it only lasts a few days. I have an unheated well house that has never had any freezing problems. The automatic drain is a good idea though.
Nothing with my MINI but I stopped by Helix while I was in Philly and had a great time hanging with Eric and the guys. My MINI fix for the day. BTW, nice shop!!!!
Yes I am but I don't take off till 10:00 PM. I'll be where all the freight is and the planes with the purple tails. Right now I am in downtown Philly.
Sweet thanks Savvy! I would probably bend some brackets to mount and aim them where I need the light most.
Drove mine to the VA today. Guy backed his Tahoe into my front end. I was following him into the parking structure when he decided to make a right. He had pulled in too far so threw it in reverse and backed right into me. I was laying on the horn and had a car behind me, so all I could do was watch it happen. Preliminary estimate is 3K including a new hood, grills, bumper, etc. Will know more when they strip the front end. I don't think the guy ever saw me through the rear view mirror. We had just come into the structure from the bright sun, so that was probably a factor too. The main thing is that His insurance put it back in new condition at no cost to me. I'll be talking to his insurance guy in the morning.
It's not what I did with my Mini today, but rather what I did for it. Well, them... With an increasing desire to attend a few events a bit further from home, in the not too far away future, and a want to fill a need to support my son's off road racing fantasy, I finally did this >>> Hmm. The photo won't load for some reason.
Let's see if this works. There, ok cool, there it is. So, I got back home from the Portland area about 8:00 last night. Did the trip in two legs, the second being from my brother-in-law's place in Grants Pass. Enough driving for a bit.
Today, I honked the horn for the second time since I bought the care new. The first time was when I first brought it home from the dealer to test that the horn worked. The second time was to alert a dufus at a stop light who was to busy messing with his smart phone to pay attention to the stop light. I waited about 30 seconds after the light turned green before I gave him the horn and still he took his time to get going, Sheesh! Also, I filled the gas tank with 92 octane non-ethanol premium.
