I don't know the code. I could send it to a guy in colorado with some cigars on the front seat but it may come back blue and rust colored. :biggrin5:
The lighting is strange, but that looks like black-eyed purple/purple haze. Could be space blue, too. It's looks too dark to be hyper blue, and indie blue wasn't available on the facelift cars.
Angeles Crest New Years Day Drove some great canyons today with a group of MINIs and P cars, 200 miles total of sunny twisty driving! Due to an ongoing issue with my left (clutch) knee I haven't driven this car much since last May, forgot what a hoot it is to carve in! Today I had a co driver so I went ahead and tortured my knee-surgery soon......
Its the lighting, too bright for Space blue of any shade, and not purple enough for Purple Haze. Also its a pre facelift with JCW Aero kit, has the old xenon lights.
I just freed up a ton more space in the shop... Time to start laying out the floor plan for the compressor room, then start framing the walls when I can.
You're right... that's what happens when posting at 3am. Looking at it now, it looks like the indi blue R50 with aero kit used in the Italian Job.
Took my car for a nice run then came home and washed it. Found out my water pump is on its way out. (leaking) Ordered new pump, thermostat, flange and O rings for next weekend.
I was finally able to sneak the Rat out to the gas station without getting stuck in the driveway... Lots of tire smoke was made from the cold pavement, and little bit of moisture in the gutters. Then cleanup and planning continued in the garage, even with my bum-thumb... Starting to look like I have space to actually work! No that's not water on the floor... I'm scrubbing it down with the old thinner in my dump can. Got rid of a couple gallons, and some of the crud that is stuck to the floor.
Finally had a break in the weather so "pig pen" could get a bath. And finally put my coilovers on order.
