A few days ago I installed: JCW leather/alcantara steering wheel ($307 shipped from Sewellparts.com!) OEM front motor mount to replace leaky one LED angel eye parking lights with DIY silver bulbs Between the steering wheel and the elimination of NVH from the busted motor mount, Jack feels like a new car!
Had to put a battery charger on it for a while to get her started. Just put a new battery in back in April. Now cooling my heels at the shop waiting for them to check it out. So much for being expedient in my errands.
Washed all the carp off. 1/2 inch of snow & a million pounds of salt on the roads. :mad2: Nathan as you know the MINI has a lot of electrical gizmo's working on draining the battery even when it sleeps. My guess is you need a battery tender for those long sleeps between uses.
I have one of those but no way would I want to be on the Dragon in it. I definitely would have no choice but to cross over that yellow line some to get around those curves
Drove with the windows down, roof open and tunes up loud. This is one of the nicest January's that I ac remember.
I adjusted the steering brake on me MINI. Winter will come sooner or later & I want to be able to thrill my new neighbors with hand brake turns.
I'm guessing she will spill the beans in due time. OK we have waited long enough spill the beans already.
