Took the Porker up I-70 after dinner to make sure no CEL codes are going to pop up... No codes from Denver to Copper Mountain and back, but the exhaust does get quieter as it heats up. Here's a short 3rd gear WOT pull through the twin tunnels on the east side of Idaho Springs on the way up. (Driver window was down) You can barely hear the exhaust! https://vimeo.com/152040961
Cleaned the windows, checked fluids, Armor All'd the interior, rotated the tires and cleaned the boot Then, went N found some twisties. :cornut:
Took my homestay student and a couple of his buddies skiing. Yes...4 of us with equipment too. No SUV for me. It was raining in the parking lot, but snow up in the slopes. Also, because I had the local MINI dealership's license plate frame on my car, and said dealership advertises there, parking was free
minus 15 here today but sunny, so I got out the S and took the dog for some walks at 2 parks...65 mile roundtrip...wonderful...just a little cold but we enjoyed it.
Our sub zero weather lately and snow predicted for later this week may jeopardize our trip to Columbus on Saturday to a new restaurant [for her]. :incazzato:
Washed the Porker twice over the weekend... Today, more flurries. It's impossible to keep a car clean in CO.
Maybe washing your car causes the flurries. Have you considered just letting the Porker get down and dirty and just motor? It's a lot of fun.
Cocooning.... Did a wrap on the MINI this morning.... Hibernating... And staying nice and warm... Salt Free... Unwrapping takes place this Spring...
Nice wrap job MM. Looks almost lifelike. As soon as I get back from the grocery getting mission mine is going into the storage building ahead of the crappy weather we've got coming. It's too dirty to put the cover on though.
