Just noticed that the coffee travel mug my kid bought me for my birthday (and it holds 16 ounces of coffee - a Grande Starbucks cup), fits the console "cup holders" in a R53 MINI.
Looks good! I hope you ordered Power Flex bushings. They will last the life of the car. I can't believe it!!!! That will take days of cleaning!! Pace your self Dave.:biggrin5::lol::lol:
Yes! I got the whole handling pack. Struts are in good shape, tires are in good shape just shite quality. Gotta replace a fog light bulb, any. Good tutorials on here for that?
Today the dark silver Mini got some attention . I installed new rear rotors and pads (Centric electro-coated rotors, Akebono Euro pads), stainless braided lines and brass bushings with stainless steel guide pins to complete the rear update. Front Wilwoods are still fine, rotors and pads 90%. I pressure bled the whole system with the good ATE stuff to get the now 3 year old brown Brembo juice out, discovered leaks where both new rear lines bolt to the hard lines. Fixed that with extra torque, hoping it will not break anything with ever degree I turned that fitting. Bled the thing again, tested for leaks with heavy foot on brake. So far so good.
Spent all day in the garage yesterday. Test fit the TD wheels, cleaned up the rear brakes and prepped for paint, and then painted the new front R56s calipers and the rear calipers.
Drove to work, little go kart made me smile the whole way Can't wait to start modding. Ordered a pair of OSRAM 55w Rallye H7 bulbs, Amazon had them for 25 bucks so I couldn't pass it up. All the fluids should arrive by the weekend so if I don't end up going to Japan I'll be home doing the Transmission and such. Also bought a new battery for the key fob but I'm a little weary of cutting it open, BMW is weird with their key fobs..... Also got a compression test scheduled at my old Subaru dealership for Wednesday, if everything checks out then mods )))
Back to columbus, after 3 weeks of cross country tour n 6000 miles of fun. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
Normally I'm not a fan of the halo effect but it looks really nice on your car and I like the front license plate.
Well, today was fun. I've been having a rough 3 weeks, totally out of shape, ready to kill. I was driving on I275 In Cinci. in the center lane. A blue car (sorry I did care enough to remember what kind 0 pulled up beside me and then tried to speed ahead. I let him. When we were equal in our respective lanes, I boosted it and blew him away by pulling in front of him. This happened twice. It appeased my urge to kill him .
