Saturday we drove Babs MINI clubster over hill & dale dodging road apples all the way. 210 miles of driving fun.
Huh..... Did the very same thing with my favorite brown eye'd girl in the MINI.... Ate a one legged fried Amish chickin dinner.... Mighty tasty....:drool Raced a couple of Amish teenagers riding on a 1 HP beast... They won...... because narrow road and slippery road apples... Amish cheaters:biggrin5:
I was being stalked all day long. Those mustangs kicked your butt good, I think they hit the NOS button.
I took my Classic out for a little 20 mile burn this morning. It's a weekly kinda thing I never get tired of.
Yesterday I started an exhaust system swap and a short shifter installation. I started by getting it up on jack stands by 5PM and by 11:30 I had the One Ball disconnected from the OBX header and out, and the Helix short shifter kit in. I also added a NM Engineering shift box cover. The instructions say its for a Gen 2, but I got it to fit fine. The real test will be getting the aluminum heat shielding over it. Today I'll take out the header and install a used Milltek header and cat, and a new Milltek resonated cat-back.
Coming off vacation in the in-laws family truckster, actually started up and drove my MINI for the first time in nearly 2 weeks… Regrettably, it was to work. Sent using Tapatalk
Took my Cooper with its newly replaced CVT tranny out for a ride today. It works great and the plan is to take it to MOTD next Spring.
Well I had to drive the MINI to the shop........so I guess it still counts. :biggrin5: Was asked by my car guru if I wanted to help ferry some cars to the Forest Grove Concours. Ummmm....hell yea! Got to drive the 1974 2002 to the show. Very original car and a blast to drive. The BMW 600 Issetta was in the trailer. Tim Morris (shop owner) drove the 1955 MB 300SL from Bend to the show....!! That is Tim in the passenger seat of the 300 with the owner driving it up to the podium for the best in class trophy. Also won the car show theme award. The 600 Isetta won best of class also. Nice little hat trick for the shop! Then the I got the chance to ride in the 300 back to our accommodations, a little over an hour away. Damn what a ride. Never thought I would ever get this chance.....getting a ride in a 2mil$ 300SL with a driver that had no problem actually "DRIVING" it through the country roads. Had the best time and will always treasure this day.
No Don Grace is her very own devilish little animal, I was just seeing who would catch it. Spec's on Grace will be temporarily going in my signature... I'm keeping her as is so no need to make a thread. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You get half off after you have 8 of them, or buy 7 and get the 8th at half price? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
