Took the Helmet to Auto Assets to get my new Greene Performance coil overs installed. They are also adding adjustable end links on all corners, corner balancing and alignment. Should be a slot car when I get it back.

One of my regular customers gives me the keys to his cars, and I go shoot them, and (sadly) bring them back. One was a 300SL Gullwing. They drive surprisingly well for 1950s technology.

Three or four of my friends have owned 2002s, the father of one of them still owns a 2002tii. The design has aged very well.

It is 98 degrees, with a heat index of 106. Intercolled turbos just LOVE that kind of weather. :frown2:

There are only two things I like about winter. Skiing, and driving forced induction on a 30-degree, low humidity day.

^^^^^ Nice video. A bit long on the credits, and you got some of the video reversed -- it makes it look like you are driving on the wrong side of the road.

    CD :D

Well, starting this past Thursday night I booted the MINI out of garage. To make room for my other whip. It's still for sale. But now will be easier to show people...plus, I am able to park it in my front yard with a for sale sign on it.

Auto Stick? Sorry. I would love to have a '67 - the perfect collector's year IMHO. First year for 12vt and last to get the bumpers with over riders/towel racks.

I had one about that age with the autostick, funny thing was I didn't know it was autostick till after I bought it! I thought I would hate it but I actually grew to like it just fine......the only negative was 3 speed box instead of 4.....

    Pampered Pocket Cub this weekend.

Got oil change, new rear breaks, and new belts at Prestige MINI in jersey.

Also got some new shoes! Good bye RTFs!!! Put on some 205/55ZR-16 BFgoodrich G-FORCE COMP-2 A/S SL. Love them!!! Gonna go for a ride today to really test them out. But just from the drive home I could feel and hear (or maybe NOT hear) the difference.

No, I was just really into VW's back in the day. Bought this '65 from the original owners in the 80's and completely rebuilt and modified it at auto body and paint school.
