Haven't done a damn thing with the MINI since Friday... when I hopped on the plane and flew to Deutschland.

This is my chariot till next Tuesday....

Not sure I have the balls to actually take it on the Ring, the Sabine did... but I do hope to get there before I leave here.

So I'm not the only one that thinks the MINI's A/C is barely able to keep up. It works okay if set the temp about 5 deg lower than what I want.

Must be that in the UK there usually isn't much call for A/C.

I removed the crappy 2 gauge holder that was installed. And, when I tried to fit the new gauge pods I got...they didn't fit by about 1/4 " each...just enough to screw up my plans. Back to the drawing board. On the good part, I worked for about an hr. w/o needing a break, a victory for me.

How were you able to get your hands on the new 2018 MINI Cubvan?

Makes the side scuttles look so small.... I'll bet MINI makes them bigger on the 2019 model...

I checked all the fluids in my MINI today. I added some oil and a splash of coolant. All topped off.

Had a lil fun on a twisty road this moring. The BFG's are not as good as Michelin PSS's. Cool tread and excellent in heavy rain, but no where near as sticky on a dry surface. Don't get me wrong I do love a lil drift action, but the control just isn't there.

Well today while driving to a blood test appointment that I studied all night for my power steering pump finally took a huge dump.

Muther Effer :incazzato: :incazzato: :mad2: :mad2: :incazzato: :incazzato:

Well I found out that it's covered under the 13 year / 150,000 k warranty.

I guess I will wash her up real good and drop her off at the dealership Saturday for a Monday free Recall repair.
I just hope she does not get parked next to an F56 and get infected with LMD. (Large MINI Disease)

Today I went out to the garage and tried to figure out how to mount my gauges, w/o buying anything extra, ...not one idea came to mind. Well, tomorrow is another day. :)

This is how I mounted mine. The mount is made of 1/8" aluminium and 2" ABS drain pipe that I had in my scrap pile.
