Love the shot, but I would have to photoshop out those power-lines, or my OCD would eat me up. CD
Photoshop is overrated... With all your paint skills.... Just airbrush the power lines off your iPhone...
Percussive maintenance on the R53's passenger door to get the window to work. It was stuck in the up position. Took about 6 hits but works now. Yay! Thanks given to those who had posted this remedy.
Done absolutely NADA with the MINI for the last 5 days, and for the next 2 weeks. Working away from home, and driving a P.O.S. 2016 Chrysler 200 rental. Makes me appreciate justa how much fun a Gen 1 is to drive.
There used to be a pub near me that made an awesome haddock and chips. The owner drove a MINI with a brit flag graphic on the roof. The place is still there, but I have no idea if it is the same owner. The menu now is mostly burgers, so I'm guessing it may be under new management. Fish and chips is awesome if done right -- and nasty, greasy crap if done wrong. CD
Rat catch can testing I got my pulley and ceramic coated exhaust in, and they seem OK. Might have something not fastened down because I hear some vibration and rattling that might be more noise than you're supposed to get. I had time to plug in my rat rod oil catch can. It's a Bardahl can with an inlet tube brazed on that runs 3/4 of the way to the bottom. It's filled with steel wool and has a petcock on the bottom and an outlet fitting on top. It seems to not kill the engine so that's a good sign. Now I can find a place to attach it and drill holes for the tubing.
Saturday I enjoyed out monthly donuts and coffee with friends. It was a good turn out. Even 05r50 made an appearance. Good to see you Jeff, great anniversary present idea. Missed crashton, babs, and Nathan.
