I don't have a shot of mine in the MINI. He would blend in with the black interior. My favorite photo is this one... He was jumping up at the camera. I don't keep a "poodle" cut on him. I guess they call it a "lamb's cut." He's only five. My last dog made it 17 years. CD
What did I do with my MINI today? Sweet F.A. that's what. Working away from home again, currently in Bowling Green, KY. There must be some kind of Japanese car meet going on, because there are lots of modded Subaru's, Acura's, etc., driving around. I can only describe the sound that they make as a prolonged fart. God, I miss the MINI. :cryin:
Ah, the good old ricer "fart can" muffler. :frown2: I wish I could make my MINI sound as good as my last Miata. I had a Goodwin Racing exhaust on it, and if you closed your eyes, you would think my car was a classic British sportscar. Getting a pretty exhaust note with a turbo is difficult, if not impossible.
Went for a ride along the Ohio river to a winery with our local club, Queen City Coopers. MUCH FUN...
Parked my car is the garage and watched PENN STATE smack #2 OHIO STATE ! 20 point underdog my A$$ PSU 24 OHIO 21
Moyer's a great place. I try to get down there a couple of times a year. How are the leaves down there? Any color yet?
I got my State inspection done. I took a chance that the inspector wouldn't even check the high beams, which sometimes work, and sometimes don't. It is Texas. The State inspection is done at gas stations and Jiffy-Lubes, and they just want their 25-bucks. CD
Dang...if I didn't see your dog's tail, I'd SWEAR it is my dog, Pepper, our Cocker-Poodle-Schnauzer! Same wild look in the eyes, same bright white teeth...except Pepper is around 10 now, hard of hearing, but still raring to go!
I disagree with this. Getting a cheap exhaust to sound pretty on any 4 cylinder is a more accurate statement, a turbo just adds to the sounds. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Went on a great drive down through south east Ohio with a group to see some covered bridges, the fall colors and get some great cider. Also it was heart warming to see so many political signs of people that think like I do.
Decided to drive the MINI to Molalla on Sat. Then I had the bright idea to jump out (pushed?) of a perfectly good plane.....! My oldest son decided he wanted to jump so I decided if he can do it so can his old man. Had a blast, but won't do it again
Wow, I haven't done that since college......and of course, it was $20 a jump then, not $200! I did 3 static line and 2 freefalls before I ran out of money.....haven't done it since. You know, when you're young and fearless......
Somebody told me go into Spotify and listen to this song: I Drive My Mini Cooper Roi Boss T Plays from Spotify [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7H88vAME6Po"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7H88vAME6Po[/ame]
I wanted to do it when I was younger but the wife said not until the kids are out of college. Now that they are done I'm not so sure.
Washed and lightly polished the 16 Countryman today. Going to do the 11 Countryman on Thursday. Btw, the 11 half-power light issue turned out to be the intake tube getting a signal at one of the sensors due to an age related crack. So watch out for crack. My extended warranty covered it after some in depth discussion about wording in the warranty manual (my interpretation versus the dealer S/A and assorted other folks). Have a nice late Fall and hope your leaves turn soon before the snows. Don
Stopped by Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and got a box of Pumpkin Spice doughnuts and shared them in the office.
