Glad you're both ok. Hope the dope learned a lesson for life about stupid behavior behind the wheel that should never happen.

Changed oil and filter at the usual 8000 mile mark (halfway between the instrument panel's interval) with Amsoil 0W40 Euro and
Mann filter. Thought I'd take a break from Mobil 1 0W40 Euro since they changed the formula and dropped the LL-01 spec.
Also sent off 3 oz of the Redline D6 in my trans to Blackstone for analysis to make sure it's holding up as a reasonable substitute
for the BMW LT-3 that's originally spec'd for the 6-speed Getrag that replaced my broken Midlands 16K ago.

I've been sick for two days, but went the the store today for provisions, and rolled my clean MINI into my garage just SECONDS before the rain started.

It rained all day, and I had to go out, so I decided to go out while it was raining hard, to see how my two-year old (I think) Hankooks were holding up. They did very well in my highly "scientific" puddle tests. No hydroplaning at all.

I stopped at the liker store on the way home. Ain't know way I'm watching election results sober tomorrow. :beer

But, I may be flying out West to photograph some cars on yet another "how soon can you get there" mission. I won't be able to drink (much), but at least I'll be busy.

My poor MINI will be spending more time waiting for me at the airport this week (in covered parking, of course).

EDIT: Oh, the virus seems to have lived it's life, and passed on. I feel better today. Thanks for the kind wishes!

I took Jocko out for a last high speed freeway spin, just because, and gave a middle finger wave to a Hillary supporter. Man that felt great!

Continued moving bits from my 85K 2009 R55-S+JCW to my 'new' 16K 2013 R55 JCW, as I prepare to sell my faithful companion.

    Classy. :frown2:

My MINI stayed in the garage today. It will be spending the next few days in covered parking at the airport.

I'm thinking it will deserve a wash and vacuum, and maybe a wax job when I get back from California. I need to get a new clay bar before I wax the car.

Every time I see that Terlingua Racing Team logo, I want to tell you how fortunate I am that Bill Neale, a fellow UNT Art Alumnus, is a dear friend and mentor of mine. I can sit and listen to his stories for hours, and never get bored.

    A truly amazing man.

Yesterday, I inventoried all the parts I am hoping to install this weekend (been supporting several sponsors). And then I placed another order for parts I forgot to order last time, and a few more of the parts on my lists.

Today, MISTRBD and I went to vote.

This afternoon/evening we took a nearly 200 mile road trip up to pick up a bunch of supplies from Adams Polishes (in preparation for a weekend detailing session).
