YUP that's why you only pull off a little bit (1/4) of the bar to use. Never use the whole bar at one time because it is a complete waste. Just pull off what you need and go to town and throw it out when you are done. It's only $13 bucks.
I installed the Helix Short Shifter. The car has been on jack stands since I started last Friday, so I am looking forward to the test drive when I am done with everything. The last two things on my list are to install the Craven STDs, and to torque the ATI dampener. I even had my wife push on the brake petal this evening while it was in gear, but the crank is still turning. I will not be able to work on it tomorrow evening, so hopefully I can finish up Friday or Saturday.
Swapped out the summer tires for winters. They are calling for snow this weekend. Gosh it feels weirds to drive with squirmy tread.
I bet it does at almost 70 degrees they have to be pretty rollie pollie. You'll be glad you have the winter shoes Sat.
I had to run some errands today and while I was out I saw a funny bumper sticker. It said " Guns kill people like Spoons made Rosie O'Donnell fat." LMFAO :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
We have a "major" cold front coming through in the next 24 hours. The high tomorrow is supposed to be 62, and it is supposed to get down to 40 tomorrow night. It is also supposed to rain tomorrow -- and with the temperatures that low... I'll need a jacket! My MINI will stay on the same tires, but I will need to add some air to them. The average car owner will just run on low air pressure, or wonder what that TPMS warning light means. CD

Yes now if I could just get a day off to get it done. I plan on fixing all the oil leaks, check the timing chain and guides, and fix anything els I can find. It has 151k on it so it is time for a refresh.
Just changed the oil in my wife R56, its a very nice MINI. But what brain dead, inbred, moron decided to put the oil filter where it is?? And I guess it takes 4.5 its? because I put almost 5 in and it is too much!:mad2:
FWIW Lee I always put 5 quarts in Babs clubster, no harm no foul. On a justa there is no turbo in the way. There is not lot of power because of that.
Yep, I always put 5qts in my 2009 Clubman S, still going........ You're gonna love that Valeo clutch.
Thanks guys. It was just past the plactic end. My clutch has been hard to push for some time, now it'slipping. I can't wat to put it in.
Took advantage of the mid-70's weather, and washed/waxed the Justa. Rinse/dry, Ferrous Dueller, rinse/wash/rinse/dry, Purple Haze Pro.
