Just ordered some microfiber towels from carpro-us.com! Looks like I'll have to get that wheel brush too. Bitsy got a dry wash with some Amsoil miracle wash, stuff is fantastic, and the car cover put on since I'll be in Canada till the 25th. It's f'n cold up here. In Toronto right now headed to Halifax tomorrow. Weeha.
CarPro MF towels are ok but for painted parts I like much higher quality towels that do not scratch or lint like cheaper brands sold by Autogeek.net, Walmart, Autozone, Costco/ Sams club crap MF. I now only use Microfiber Madness or Esoteric & Gyeon towels. https://www.carpro-us.com/microfiber-madness/ http://www.esotericcarcare.com/brands/Esoteric.html
She's gone from the MINI scene. Very long story... not worth the time or effort. End of discussion. (Dave ^^^.... best to just let it at that.)
I have mostly Griot's car care products, their brick and mortar store is about a half an hour from my house, so I just drop in and get what I want. Griot's synthetic clay is a real upgrade over standard clay bars. They have a few variations of it for surface preparation. https://www.griotsgarage.com/category/polish+wax/prep.do
Wow, must be some story Dave loves everyone. Back on topic..... I washed Babs little brown clubster this morning.
Griot's Garage stuff is soooo over priced and really not that much better then the crap you can by is Wal-Mart.
Cleaned the German bread-van today. Nice & shiny considering I used the wrong products. Griots worked well to make it shine. I can only imagine the brilliance I could achieve had I used the proper elixirs.
^^^^^ That's ok, It just means mine will even look better parked next to yours and still be 3 years older. Oh I also picked up my Summer / Dragon rims today with a nice new set of Dunlop Star Spec II's on them.
What the heck is Dave.0 smoking, I though he lived out east not here in CO. Another great day in CO, drove the 16 out for some Thai Curry. Extra good! Don
I released the schmoo.... Took the plastic cocoon off the MINI.... Hibernation is officially over.... Let the fun begin.... Drove it from the shop to home..... With the windows down.... It felt really good to be driving the MINI again... Love how direct the steering is..... It was fun taking aggressive turns on the way home...
Today we left the MINI home and took the Lexus Rx350 (2010) pearl white and gray and traded in on a 2016 RX 350. The damn Navi screen is 12.4 inches wide. :biggrin5: Damn nice ride and I am glad she is happy with her new car. Silver with black and gray interior.
Dave, what's up? No countryguy or clubmonster?? You done well I'm sure Mrs Dave O is very happy with the new ride.
Simple pleasures. I found myself looking forward to running my weekend errands because I was taking the R53. I cannot recall that feeling has happened for the other vehicles in my stable.
