:cornut: Drove through the Texas back country on twisting gently rolling county and state roads with a good cigar and of course a hazel nut mocha. This morning Margi got her tires rotated. Jason
:cornut:From Sherman W on US82 to Muenster(Montague County-no relation) to buy German Sausage. Then N up to Spanish Fort(ghost town) ~1mi south of the Red River. Then headed SE back down to US82 through the windmill electric farms and back home. For me Spanish Fort ghost town is the neatest place. The wind in the trees whispers of Trail Drives/Card Games/Gun Fights/Whiskey Brawls and Lost Loves. Jason
:cornut: Yeah, comes with my age(59 yo) however,I didn't consider the last gun fight that I was in to be romantic until years later. Jason
NM RSB End Links Lookie what my nice mailman put in the box this AM. NM's adjustable RSB end links! Don't even have to adjust them as they come pre-set for NM's RSa springs. Finally that bar will ride level like it's supposed to! Now to put them on.
It was a beautiful day today, tomorrow is supposed to be the same. Gotta do something with the MINI...... Road trip.... Tomorrow I'm taking the wife and we are going to make a run to Lebanon Ohio. The Golden Lamb for lunch. Going to put a dent in their "Family Style" fried chicken dinner...... Yummy.... I'll take plenty of pics....
Drove down Highway 1 with my wife and stopped by Half Moon Bay Brewing Co. Found a car that I knew wasn't going to ding my door. And then the SUV parked next to me. Anybody else have this magnetic attraction to large vehicles no matter how far away you park? (I bet the Ferrari owner was thinking the same thing)
Monthly MetroplexMINI meeting... we all went to the DeLos Vodka distillary in Lewisville first!!! Yum... free samples!
Road trip to Lebanon Ohio. Had dinner at the Golden Lamb. Gazebo next to the Golden Lamb City Hall Filler Up and Check the Oil.
We did this yesterday not today........Did a M&M run up the Sierras. M&M stands for Mini's and Miatas. We had 6 Mini's and 9 Miatas......was actually pretty cool to have different cars with us :cornut:
Usetabe...... Butnotanymore..... Cars must have been a lot smaller during the time this station was built (model T era???) I think I had less than a foot between curbs.... Funny thing was.... I passed an old Texaco station and did a loop back, when I saw the old Shell station down by the railroad tracks.... I wasn't too sure I could fit the MINI in, but I didn't want to let the opportunity pass....
