Took my MINI “the mistress†out of the garage today and ran all over the county today with my wife.
Looked out my back door to make sure it was still there. Guess it's gonna stay there and I'll take the Suburban out tomorrow. Wonder what kind of snow load that splitter can handle.
I'm picking it up at the airport tonight, and bringing it back to the airport tomorrow. It's like I am "borrowing" for a day. CD
Um I am sorry but I am going to have to report you to the CMD (cruelty to Minis department). No cover or anything. You should be ashamed!:biggrin5:
Yeah I know. Was supposed to be flurries. It's still snowing. Glad I got my winter coat of wax on it.
Got the Blizzaks on my wife's MCSa. If anyone needs snow tires on a car, it's her...any type of snow for her on even all seasons is a disaster waiting to happen!
That is just more firmer water, no harm done Vette. Your wax is doing a fine job of protection that nice grey paint. On the other hand DO NOT go plowing the roads. That's a splitter not a plow.
I shot a 1965 GT350 (yes, a real one) today, and the owner and I had a lot of the same friends. He let me do a shot of our cars together. Opposite color combinations -- I couldn't resist. CD .
driving electric blue today to pick up my son from college. 330 miles on roads covered with salt dust from the last storm. Guess that's what I bought the car for, but it still hurts to do that to a Mini that has never seen salt in 12+ years.
Mine won't hit the road again until it rains enough to wash the chemicals off the road. I already have rust on the Suburban and don't worry about that as long as it keeps the rain out and the running gear holds up.
My poor MINI is stuck at the airport, again. I shot another GT350 today, but the colors were wrong, and my MINI wasn't there. I did find a cool location. I wish my MINI would have been with me. I would have shot it in the same place, with and without the other GT350. CD .
I wasn’t home to do anything with my Mini the past few days. Just got back from a trip to Laughlin, NV, where I served as my Son’s pit crew during the Rage at the River off road racing event. Only running in his fourth event in three years, he was 10th after Saturday and WON the race yesterday! He took home the 4th place trophy in the 2000 Class. What a great time we all had. Congratulations Lil Buddy!
Congrats to your son! Got the Helmet out and took my wife to dinner. Well I forgot my card and had no cash so she pad the bill. Oops
Washed the 11 Countryman in the driveway yesterday, fresh detail before Thanksgiving, it only needed a rinse and some tender work with Adam's waterless wash to get some of the road crud off the doors. Shines like new, it is the wife's daily driver and our Dog MINI, not sure if I mentioned the 11's name is RocketDog. Don
I finally found the right amp for the Helmet, it came in today. Install on Friday it will be 50 degrees, I hope.
I took my car out to CVS yesterday when it was warm (mid 30’s) and came home and locked it in the garage. Today it’s was 19 with a 30 mph wind that made it feel like 2 degrees. WTF, where is the global warming now Al Gore ?
