I went to a club (Queen City Coopers ) and we talked about an OHIO get together with the (Dayton club, the Columbus club (group) and a club in Toledo, if there is one. One idea was to have a poker run on a route easily marked so it would be 'fun'. Each club would meet up at a final common destination point and determine who the winners was. AND THEN, the winners would then determine the winner. Just an idea that could be fun over a week-end. The event would be open to anyone who wants to come. What do you think An Ohio poker run????
Hey, I'd rather see that money go to you than to some corporation charging $918.50 for a light bulb. CD
My MINI is in the garage. My office is in my house, and I had no reason to go anywhere today. Just as well, the weather sucks. I need to do some research on diverters/BOVs. That was an item a lot of Audi enthusiasts replaced, because the factory diverters were cheap, mostly plastic parts that leaked pressure. I have my suspicions about the one on my R56. CD
Swapped out the tensioner for a brand new one, belt and idler pulley. No more slipping noise. Feel like it pulls pretty damn strong now too. Took off the Alta tensioner stop too. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Wish I knew what all the previous owner had done, besides the cai, exhaust and 17% pulley. Since replacing belt and tensioner, it has so much more power. Topped out at 17.4 psi boost. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Washed the MINI last night. Woke up this morning to thunder...Lovely.... Glad I work from home today Got my buddy Sammy keepin an eye on things out front.
Saved it from a fiery death... at 2:30 AM. Lipo battery decided it wanted to self destruct and tried to take the house with it... Right above on the “wood” shelf was all my drills and their batteries, then above that was the oil, grease etc... so could have been a real “barn burner”.. lucky and overall given the situation not a huge amount of damage.... except maybe to my lungs.
Drove past a Daihatsu Mira Gina on my way to the office this morning. I had to look it up. I was surprised to find one in Canada. Driver of said car tried to keep up with me.
Sully I am very glad you found that before it all went up in smoke. Holy carp!!! My day was easier. Clean the snow that buried Skooby.
Oh man that could have been very bad! I so don't trust batteries there have been so many bad fires and plane crashes due to them. Glad the GP is ok.........oh and you too
