I haven't checked in here in a while, but I changed the oil in my MINI today. It has been mostly hibernating in the garage since my dragon trip back in November. I can't wait for spring to arrive.
Tried to talk my wife in to lowering her MINI getting a tune and meth. No go. Drove the red one to work
You old people need your afternoon naps so you are ready at five for the Early Bird Specials at Red Lobster. CD
I started the R52 and let it warm up and charge the battery. I've also been thinking about MOTD prep for the GP, it's only 11 weeks away. Really hoping for an early spring so I can get it out of storage and start checking things off the list.
So, apparently the previous owner was hiding some shit. What’s odd is those gouges are painted over. Some people’s kids.....
Whan my grandparents on my dad's side were alive, Red Lobster was their favorite restaurant. When I would visit, they would always "treat me" to a meal at Red Lobster. You can't say "no" to your Grammy and Grandpa. That just wouldn't be right. CD
Sometime last week I posted here about diverters/BOVs on my R56. I was kinda' expecting some comments. Is it something I need to concern myself with, or is it not an issue? CD
@caseydog It can be. When they come apart it parts can end up in your turbo. Some upgrade to this one. http://www.gfb.com.au/products/blow-off-and-diverter-valves/dv-plus/dv-t9352-suits-mini-citroen-and-peugeot-application-detail
Good luck with that Dayton crowd. They are mostly into Classics and most stick to themselves, although they are HUGE on MINI MEET EAST.
Just a little.. seems like you went dark in some areas and light in others.. @tsmetjen - Looking good.
Couldn't find a paint or body forum so will post on here. Anyone got any good tips or tricks to fix this? Is there a way to just fill then touch up then buff out? This explains why he picked such an odd spot for that damn badge.
You would probably have to blend the base then clear the entire A panel to hide an obvious touch up job. Or fill the scratches and wrap your A panels with another color or graphic. Kind of looks like the scratches follow the round shape of the badge. Maybe he had the first badge stolen, then touched up the scratches and replaced the badge??
