I did a 78 car collection photoshoot last week, and grabbed a couple of license plates, which are not "stamped" in Texas, so they are perfectly flat. I used them as backing plates for my own FLP, so now my FLP is three plates thick. It was a free fix, so I'll see how it works. Being 56 and white, I could get away with no FLP where I live, but I drive through some real hick towns from time to time, so why give some revenue-generating cop an opportunity to make a quick 200-bucks. Took a drive up to the folks place to drop off the check for my new to me truck. It'll be delivered next weekend... when my folks come down to see my new pup.
My scan tool isn't connecting to the ECU. Turns on but doesn't connect. Have the ignition on and all that too. Anyone run into this ever?? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Using my bluetooth elm 327. And also when I plug the BMW scan tool. Both power on but will not connect to ecu. Wondering if I jiggled something loose when swapped out the header Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
I have a elm 327 they are flaky at best, but the other is hard wired? I not sure what to do about that.
I don't either. Going to look and see if there are any loose pins in the obd port later. Even the hard wired one I have, powers on but doesn't link to ecu. Thanks for the help Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
As soon as I unplugged this, it connected. Plugged it back in and it lost the link again. Unplugged and then good. Got some oil in there somehow. I'll be cleaning that out when I get home from work. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Got the Helmet out and dusted it off. I plan on driving it to work the rest of the week. I don't have to fly so I will have banker hours. When it was sitting in the drive one of the cats walked up to it and started to jump, with me yelling no, on the hood. Well he didn't make it all the way up and started sliding off so he starts he was running in place and sliding down the hood!!! good thing that cat runs faster than me!!
Thought it would fix it. No luck still. Will be taking it this Saturday to a shop here in town that specializes in MINI cooper s. Maybe they can guess why it doesn't link when this is plugged in Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
That'd be the, F MINI's 10k interval and change every 5k with Amsoil interval She'll be 100k's old within the next few weeks.
