I changed and stored the snows on my wife's S for the all seasons and got a brake fluid flush today, too.

Next week, the Cooper gets new brake fluid [Motul] for its trip to MOTD.

I'm with your wife on this one. I'd be thinking about setting off a bug bomb in there before I drove it again. Hate spiders!

He could have renamed the Helmet as the Spyder...then, his wife would have to ride in one of his stable's other vehicles!:Cigar:

Why is it that the more I do to get ready to leave for the Dragon...the more I find I have yet to do? So far today, attached the spare trailer tire to the trailer, cleaned the air filter, cleaned the cd changer, and started learning how to pinstripe. I can't wait till everything's done !!!!!!

Got the interior cleaned up and vacuumed tonight. Never mind that dirty looking floor mat, it's wearing thru in places and the rubber is super thin right there and couldn't get it to darken up after scrubbing it.

I've never been to Panama...Honduras and Nicaragua, yes, but then, that's where the great cigars lurk outside of Cuba. I've run into quite a few scorpions in Honduras and Nicaragua, though, and I think I might take spiders any day!

When I was a younger lad, my car stereo system had to sound like a rock concert in a car. No that I am an old fart and listen to NPR in the car, it's not that big a deal. I still have a killer Home Theater system in the Man Cave, but I can't watch movies or concert videos in the MINI. In the car, if I even have the radio on, it's NPR, or something similar (I hate radio commercials).

Used to get hand rolled cuban leaf cigars for ~$20 a box in Tegucigalpa. For an extra couple bucks they'd burn your name into the top of the wooden box and put your name on the cigars labels. I think I still might have a half box laying around somewhere.

I was/am the same way. I'm 35 now, in my early to mid 20's I needed 2 12's, mid and high component sets and at least 2 amps in the car. No mas, now bass-ey systems bother my ears too much the longer I listen to it. I was listening to NPR for a while there, till I got sick of dealing with Sirius customer service. Now I use Apple Music and listen to podcasts N stuff or one of my 10-20 year old cd's. Same with home audio, I've been a Polk Audio fan since forever, and recently added a nice powered 12" sub (another reason I don't have struts yet @Sully). My living room is complete.... For now....

I am 55 and a good sound system is a must. The S has an Alpine head unit and a 12in sub. The Helmet has the HK system. I run click wheel iPods in both. The Helmet is a U2 addition all of those iPods are enhanced. I have to wear hearing aids, but I can still tell a difference in the clarity of both systems. The Alpine is better, its a cleaner sound. I listen to some politics but mostly I listen to music. I really don't care to hear all the BS. I will vote when I can and listen to my music. Its better for my sole. I have no control only, God does and he has it handled, so I don't have to worry.
Not downing anyones choice of what they listen to. Its just I trust my fellow citizens/friends even when I don't agree. I am just tired of how they want to separate us and convince us we need to chose sides.

Now where is my Bob Seger, doobie brothers...............

    :D

There was a time when I was one of the cool guys with a rear speaker & a reverb.

These days my hearing is so poor that even a really poor radio sounds pretty darned good to me. No way I'm going to spend money on an upgrade, it would be a waste of money.

First proper car wash of the year. Still snow in the yard, but 54F and overcast, so perfect for a wash without water spots. Out came the hose, the foam sprayer, and microfiber glove. I even did the black on the plastics and vacuumed the inside. Weathertech mats are out, Mini carpet floor mats are in. It's officially spring for the car now.

I drove my MINI in the rain to an auction, where I saw an AMC Pacer sell for $26,000. That is not a typo. I think I posted this picture before, but I'm getting old, so here it is again, maybe. I don't remember.
