It depends. If winning is your thing, then your car should be spotless. Some people carry it to the point of insanity. I have seen people cleaning their tread of rocks, etc, and other stupid stuff like that. I clean my car extremely well at the beginning of the summer (and again many, many thanks to Dave O) and just touch it up before a show. I don't care if I win, I really enjoy walking around looking at the cars and talking to all the other old farts.
Wash and quick wax yesterday, way over due. Put the new headliner in last Friday, pics coming after I get some clips for the rear panels.
WOOHOO--I got my Milteck exhaust system installed today. Sounds great and my butt dyno says it is working the way it should. Sounds great...
Post up a nice video of the new exhaust sound, we all like to hear a good exhaust, btw... It will change tone as you get a 1000 miles or so on it. Congratulations. Don
I've been to the Pebble Beach Concours de'Elegance about ten times. You should see what those people do. CD
Got it dirty Never fails, I wash GIR and then it rains. I almost made it a whole day with a presentable MINI. I did get my parts on order so there is a plus.
Not my Mini but my wife’s. Got home last night and this morning I gave my wife some gray and black Union Jack mirror caps for her Highgate R57. Thanks Ourmotoring!
Took her out for a run to Delaware so I could stretch her legs and pick up a new TV for my wife office.
