Went to my local MINI dealer and bought a new rear side marker light. Was expecting my customary discount, only to find that they have had a change in management in the parts and service department. Apparently any discount I have been getting is no longer valid.

Apparently, I'm going to be going somewhere else for my parts and service, going forward then.

If your a BMWCCA member you will get a discount. But I think I would be complaining to the owner.

Fall, my favorite time of the year. I can actual go outside and get things done without feeling like I am in a sauna.:Wtf:

Gave GIR a bath yesterday and snapped a few picture of the new headliner.

I took them off the side of the lights then I used epoxy to seal the moving part to the trim ring and wrapped the headlight rings. It looks like they have them to stay OEM but they are not functional.

I also cut the water feed line and plugged it and tucked it behind the headliner.

Don’t you hate when that happens? And the dealerships wonder why they are called stealerships and why people buy parts on line. Hahahahaha

MINIs of Portland gives me a discount, so when I am visiting Oregon, I usually drop by with a shopping list of parts.

If I need MINI oem parts I go to my good friends at EMINIParts.com. Plus they are a forum sponsor. Great folks there.

Shipping to Canada is a problem. But now that there is a revised NAFTA (renamed UMCA or something), it might be easier. But shipping costs and the value of the Canadian dollar is always an issue.
Maybe Canada needs to charge the US more for our oil. and the US remove some of their tariffs your president imposed due to Canada being a "security threat" to the US.

Sorry...wasn't wanting to drag politics into this forum.

I'm REALLY pissed. I ordered a pedal kit from Rennline and got it today. According to the pictures on Rennline's website, what I ordered was a gas pedal with a red extension that would work with the way I drive. I received a pedal with no red extension. I called Rennline and was told that the red extension was an extra...just read the small print at the bottom of the page. I am deciding whether to just return the lot as $245.00 is a lot to spend on 'looks'. Granted I am a 'cruiser' and show my car at local events and this would look great, but.... GRRRRRR If I return them, I will go on every list I can find and bad mouth them.

Look here they are up front about the extension. I love the Rennline pedals Mark put on the Helmet.
