It snowed here last night about 3 inches of light fully stuff. Today I stood at my window drinking coffee and watched my IDIOT neighbor across the street clean off his car with a shovel.

I walked out 10 minutes later in shorts and a hoodie and used a leaf blower to remove all the snow from the wife’s Lexus RX 350 and clear the driveway. He looked at me and came and asked why I used the blower. Because a shovel puts scratches in the paint and told him to at least use a soft brush next time. He said his car is black car and always looks great. We agreed that we have way different thoughts on what great looks like.:p:eek:

Thanks folks, only time and lots of effort ahead. Grandma is out East for a few more weeks, then home for a bit, it will all work out, I am optimistic as hell. Don

Took the wife to see a theatre production of Mama Mia by high school Muse Machine kids. WOW...what talents...professionals have NOTHING on these talented kids! Great show!

Never mind driving out on the post snowstorm roads...my newly repaired S did just fine!

I just got home from showing my car in the Cincinnati |Cavelcade of Customs car show. I showed the officials pictures of my car and was put in the 'custom convertible' class...with all the American cars. I was competing against 57 Chevy convertibles, fords, and every other custom convertible car. There were 550 total cars entered in the show. I came in third in my class, much to my surprise. I will post pictures tomorrow, but I had to boast tonight :) :) Believe me, without the help of guys like Dave O, Larry Wiley, Rick Davin, Larry Shultz, and a few others, I couldn't have done it. I'm beat and off to bed.

Brushed off my wife's S and took the pooch for a walk. OMG, the back roads were horrible and the parks were unplowed... made me happy her car has snows! I'm sure the doggy was even happier as we managed to find a niche for him to do his thing!

No not really if you head to the right part of Ohio. If you care to drive over here I'd be glad to show you some that would take a few days to explore. Fun ones for sure. :)

Not today, but yesterday. At Discount Tire once again for a leaking TPMS sensor.o_O I was there last Wednesday to have this fixed. The tire was losing 10 PSI in 7 days triggering the dreaded nanny light. They fixed a leaking sensor & asked "who put this in like this?". When I said they did the subject was changed.:Whistling: All is well & 3 days later the nanny light shows her ugly face again.:( Back to Discount Tire once again, I'm hoping this time it's done right. Fingers crossed....

EDIT..... I've had good luck in the past many times with Discount Tire. I hope this is justa an anomaly & not the new norm for them.

It's those frickin potholes in and around Columbus, Chuck. There are not enough Discount Tire stores in Columbus to fix that ongoing curse. Of course, if all fails, there is always Best....

Those living in Philly and/or the area should not cast stones. I well remember when you told me your roadways are crap and I don't imagine they have improved much, if at all.
