Today it is storming quite badly. I migrated from AAA to State Farm auto insurance. I saved 200 clams a year with a comparable policy.
You might want to buy some light protection film. I've had them on my MINI for 6 years or so & my lights are still intact & looking good. MINI Cooper Headlight Protection Film
My guess is solvent attack, notice how all the cracks seem to propagate around the edge. not your typical stone damage.
Thanks for the link! I was thinking about doing the headlight restore and that film would work great to protect them after. I did the same on my Evo and it turned out really good. Hehe I think they are the original lights, so 117,000 miles of road wear took it's toll on them. I'd been meaning to replace them since I bought the car last year but just never got around to it.

Swapped the winter treads for the summer rims/tires. Then I invented a few errands and went out for a nice "spirited" drive..
I stood staring out the garage door, at all the rain pouring down... The MINI in my peripheral vision, and freshly detailed, I decided not to take that drive after all.
Drove the Skooby cluster to Discount Tire to have the flat tire fixed. Hope it is repairable.... ***Yes it was & the fine folks at Discount tire repaired it for free. Those guys do a wonderful job! Went to the Lewis Center store.
