Here in Wisconsin we are still deep into Winter, so I've done nothing with either mini since they are both in deep storage.
I looked at my new-to-me set of Volks wheels and decided I need to ceramic coat the insides to be able to better clean them easier. Hey Dave...wanna take a road trip to Cincy ?
Finally a break in our snow and cold in Colorado, usually we are in the 2nd or 3rd week of Spring by now. Anyway, I did wash the ParkLane today, but snow coming on Wed/Thursday, sigh! CD, Is the Apollo right? I still think red and blue worked.
Washed and waxed 2 of my cars yesterday. Took all afternoon. Now waiting for the rain or snow to start.
Snow is gone and it’s warming up again. I drove my car around and washed it Saturday. Sunday I washed and detailed my wife’s ride.
crossed the 265000 milestone (kilometerstone?) marker yesterday morning. Unfortunate the nearest place I could stop and take a picture was a kilometer away. It clicked over to the 1 just as my car came to a stop.
new steering shaft installed today on my wife's R53! Costly, but now the car drives like brand new. Now, I gotta see Chad about the worn out front lower control arm bushings....
I cleaned my new Volks wheels and am taking them in for pinstriping tomorrow. Gettin' Dragon ready...woohoo.
Put the air deflectors (under the front air dam) back on now that the risk of significant snowfall has passed.
Finally got home. Looks like the Helmet has a coolant leak. I am sure its in some hard to get to spot. How do I know because that's MINI!!! I plan on installing an RXP catch can I just got. This way I don't have to block off the dirty side of the PVC. I'll see if it works. I am going to put the from the helmet BSH Catch Can on my wife's R56.
