I found it rather amusing watching a bug land on the hood of my Countryman just after I buffed off a fresh coat of wax. It struggled for grip as it slid off the bonnet and fell off. My personal opinion of Griot's wax is it's pretty good stuff.
I guess you're getting that new GP, huh? Dave.O will impeach you! Redbeard, on the other hand, will be pleased.
No I will be getting a non Mini. But I have the weekend to think it over and I really want to find the right buyer for the Helmet. It's an incredible car and deserves to go to someone that will take good care of it. I'm going to take the night to think about it before I post the Helmet for sale here and the other sight.
Close, but no cigar. I'll put this trophy on the mantle with all my other second & third place trophy's.
Bleed the brakes/ABS module, even though I fixed where the water was getting in I drilled a hole in the battery box and reinstalled the battery, changed the oil, rotated the tires, and de-cated the exhaust. When I took off the rear wheels the left shock felt loos, it wasn't the rubber on the shock mount is gone. So I took the left shock off and decided to do both sides. The bolt on the bottom of the right shock will not come off. I tried a pull bar and my impact, it is not coming loose. I spared penetrating oil on it, I will try tomorrow. NAPA said they had the shock mount, got there it is not the right part. Walked out to get in the Helmet and it had a large puddle of coolant under it. Its been a long day. What I need is another broken MINI
I never have. It has 56 or 57k. Why should I? Also I had to get an adapter they changed something on the new thermostat, it a wire two leads into one.
Ok this is why you don't reply when you have had adult beverages or before your first cup of coffee. I had a Tstat on order, I just picked it up from the dealer. I knew that was where it was leaking but it was a slow leak now its a fast leak. I was hoping to have the R53 done first but I had to order the bushings for the rear shocks. I ordered Powerflex bushings from Outmotoring. I will be gone all next week. I hope they get here in time for me to install them.
