Mini disgraced herself and peed all over the garage floor!
She clearly takes all her vitamins, it was bright green!!!!
Right hand side (I believe that is the water pump side....)
Trip to the doctor tomorrow to see what needs replacing....

Green is the wrong color coolant, it should be blue. When you have it fixed have the system Flushed, Refilled with the OEM coolant. It does make a difference as it also has to be deluded 50/50 and should not be bright green as it it was not deluded correctly.

I’m going to have a good look over the weekend and make sure it is in fact coolant and she hasn’t ruptured a spleen.

I can finally have a non-squeaky ride when I take my S for a spin., as the worn out rear sway bar bushings are now history. Ahhhhhh...took the S for a short shakedown 25 mile cruise on my way home and the car felt good again, with NO rear end noises whatsoever

Only rear end noises now come from the driver. It's OK old friend, blame the dog. :Cigar:

Glad you got it sorted out.

Have your guy look at it Jeff. Pick what jobs are a must do & have them done. I'm sure most of those quotes were somewhat bogus let's generate money for the dealer thing$.

It will have to wait til after the Dragon. I have too much to do right now with taxes, Dr. appts., and getting my S ready for the trip to MOTD. So, unfortunately, until it gets diagnosed, her car will be parked on the street as it has started dropping oil and steering fluids. I have kept it well-maintained since buying it, but fear its previous owners let things go until it was too late. So, it's up to me to try to rescue it, or get rid of it.

Touching up a few small 1/8 inch paint
dings (still needs another coat of color
    then some clear coat).
Removed the airbag warning decals on the visors.
Polished the driver headlight lens so it
matches the new one on the other side.
It was actually pretty good before but
    now it looks new again.

Took mine out of storage today after almost 5 months. Battery was dead as a hammer. Jump started it and drove it around for a while, but it wouldn't build a charge. Ended up at AutoZone for a new battery. That was $189 I wasn't planning to spend today.
The guy behind the counter said "no problem", I'll swap it out for you. Heck, I didn't even realize what a pain it is to change one out. The AZ guy was definitely surprised, and not pleasantly. An hour later it was done. Have to say, the guy had a good attitude about it and said next time he has to do a Mini it'll take a lot less time because he'll know what to expect. I explained that on most of them he won't have to deal with removing and replacing the strut bar.
They were hesitant to even try to swap it out because the parts computer stated that the car was equipped with a smart charger and would have to be reprogrammed after installation af the new battery. I convinced them that at the most it would give me a CEL and I would take care of that if it did. Didn't have to do a thing other than hit the start switch and reset the clock. I'm a happy camper, especially after taking the long way home. Almost forgot how much fun the darn car is. Couple things left to do though. I put new plates on it today, but didn't realize until I was almost home that my state inspection sticker expired in December. Got to make an appointment for that at the same time I get my erl changed. Hopefully Wednesday.
