Where do you find aero bumpers? Didn't you just put that one on after the Dragon before last?

    Lee,

I hit a pot hole at 2 mph pulling out of a parking lot on the other side of a speed bump. The hole was was a foot deep, no lie, and my car bottomed out on the front passengers side and the bumper took the hit. It was February and cold as hell so it did not flex, it cracked and split in two places. I did my repaira and the bodyshop I trust did the rest of the work and it turned out looking brand new.

You are correct, you cannot buy the aero bumper anymore. This is the same bumper.

I crossed to border to buy a tank of gas.
The last time I bought gas in Canada, it cost me $80CDN to fill the tank. I crossed the border into the Blaine WA and it costs me $43USD. That's around $55CDN.
Vancouver BC has the most expensive gasoline in North America and it's going up again this week. We're at record prices now. Even higher than when oil was over $100 a barrel.

Our various levels of governments and oil companies can't help themselves. They keep cranking it up.

Yup, anyone remember that airline bag fees were to be just temporary to help with the fuel crisis

Crisis is over, time to stop the bag fees.

Ever flown Frontier Airlines? They charge for carry-on baggage, too. Minimum 35-Bucks if you pay in advance when you buy your ticket from their website. Want a soft-drink on your flight? Get your wallet out. As of now, you can use the lavatory for free, but I'm guessing they just haven't thought of charging for that, yet. I hope they don't read this post.

I haven't done much of anything with my MINI lately. I'm keeping up with the cleaning and maintenance, but haven't done much "motoring." I did go to Kroger today, and when I came out, a rather nice looking R56 MCS was parked next to me. Anyone here?

I flew Frontier one time from Denver to Vages with only a carry on. We don’t have Frontier much on the East coast. We use SouthWest to fly to Florida since they have the only non-stop from Philly. Free drinks no bag fees.

They tried that already. Turns out, doing that breaks Canada's various privacy and Canadian Rights and Freedoms laws.

At least they haven't implemented oxygen fees yet.

WOOHOO- I pick up my car tomorrow. Everything is done that could be done. Splitter looks great, taillights are what I thought they would look like and I'm a happy camper. Also, ordered donuts for the Dragon, Red Cups for the Dragon and, I think with all the crap I am taking, I'll have to bring the trailer. It's no fun driving the dragon with a trailer. CAN'T WAIT PS are small trailers allowed at Fontana?

Drove Skooby over to Discount Tire for the snow tire change over. In & out in 50 minutes. These guys do a great job.

I bought a ceramic coating kit a few months ago. A few days ago I bought some clay and a Griot's polisher.
So I washed the car and covered it. Today I am going to clay it before work. Then I will polish it tomorrow. Next week I will strip and coat it. I hope I don't screw this up.
The problem is I can't leave the cover off without pollen getting all over it.
