I have to add washer fluid so I can clean all the Fontana Pollen of my car daily.

I bought a new to me trailer for the MINI. It is a little smaller than the one I have, but a lot more solid. Hopefully, I will pick it up tomorrow and have some pics.

Today was the second day on the rack trying to get my new suspension system sorted. Goin
to put ~100 lies on it tomorrow and see how it settles. If all is still good I'm going for an alignment Friday too. Next week my detail guy gets the car.

This was my pit crew. probably why it took so long.

Well, it is a long story, but both Mini's are gone. I now have a Ford Escape, but it is an "S" with a 2.0L engine and a turbo. Escape does fit my lifestyle better and I can get my saddle and bags of feed inside.:)

Loved the Mini, all the folks I met and MOTD, but my trust in the brand was seriously shattered. I pop back here around MOTD, just see the pictures and what all went on.

Good to see that a bunch of the old regulars are still around.

I waved at the driver of a blue and white Clubman today, and she waved back. She was rather attractive -- from the shoulders up. May be nothin', but ya' never know. ;)

It’s the shoulder up parts that keep the crazy hidden behind a pretty smile.

    it’s a trap.

It's time for those "special" glasses, CD. I wonder if they can "see" thru the lower door panel....

Got my car alignment done yesterday and today I ran a few errands to shake everything down. Then it was back to the house for some much needed cleaning of the outside.

Washed my car today and started to finally detail my own car. I have been doing everyone else’s cars as mine has been neglected and just getting half assed washed. All trim is now off and I spent the day polishing. Tomorrow will be wipe down and coating day. Then it can sit and cure in the garage under the lights for a few days.

Put a high power LED Bulb in the
reverse light socket (only one on the
right in my R55, so it needs all the help
    it can get).
    About 4-5 x as bright as a p21w and
more than twice as bright as the 796
35w halogen bulb I usually use in that
    position.
    Manufacture claims 3600 lumen and
1800 mA draw per bulb, but I measure
    about 1800 lm and 850 mA. 6500K.
I like 3.5-5K better but no one makes a
bright one like that that I could find.

They rate them as a pair never per bulb/ LED. Great little mod.

Do you get the bulb nanny saying you have a light out? If not I'll put one of these in Skooby.

No, but the reverse light position doesn’t
trigger that on my car anyway.
Most other position bulbs do if an LED is
substituted. These are about 10w compared
to stock 21w bulbs, whereas most LEDs are
only 2-4w, so they might or might not trigger
it in other positions. I could try it in the turn
signal socket if you need to know.

I thought of putting the other one in the
    rear fog position, but
1 - It would be rude to the car behind me.
2 - I pretty much never use the rear fog light anyway.
3 - People think the single fog light on
the left just means there’s a missing
second brake light on the right (where the
reverse light actually is, or a stuck on
brake light on the left, or both.

I could use it selectively to make a point,
such as for tailgaters, etc., but that would
probably just provoke road rage behaviors.

P.S. credit for pointing me to these goes to Kupona on ... er ... some other site.

You have to turn off the OEM bulb check with NCS Expert.

I wonder if anyone local to me has such a thing. Babs won't let me use my old school fix of black tape. ;)

I spent the weekend installing an RMW BVH on the GP. Everything looked good but I did find a coolant leak at the water pump flange and also had a broken timing chain guide. It's back together now! I installed the new tune file from Jan and she fired right up.

I also pulled the R52 out of storage yesterday.
