The helmet has been sitting in the garage collecting dust. So tonight I went out and went over it with some Gyeon Quick Detailer. I guess it was a little duster than I thought.

3D36A208-05C3-4C9D-9F07-DA90B62B37F6.jpeg Low tire pressure light came on
when I started the MINI this am.
    3 tires 36#
    1 tire 24#
Removed 1 screw from middle of
    left rear tread groove
    Placed 2 Dynaplug inserts
    Good to go.
As you can see I wasted one of the inserts trying to insert it.
Got to start my workday almost on time

Yep, if I put 12# of weights on it, it’ll be
back up to 36# like the other 3.

I'm glad they did. It wouldn't have been much of a celebration without them.

Upgraded from NM 22mm sway bar to the NM GT 25mm bar with new end links. Replaced the plastic Cravenspeed ProClip that the CS adjustable short shifter rides in with their new updated metal clip. Hadn't realized how much slop had developed until replacing the part. Shifter's tighter than a tick now.

I washed our 2002 Sequoia today. It had tree sap on it. It is a white truck that was mostly black with sap. Its amazing what soap from the parts store and 3000 grit sand paper will do! It took a few hours but I got het done.
What does Esoteric know! Ha Looks almost as good as @Dave.0 Mini!:D

By the way, anyone want to buy a 2002 Sequoia with 280,000 miles? I will consider trading for a GP.

Got some bad news about my wife's S and, sadly, it looks as if it's going to the Goodwill Auto Auction soon. The estimate fro MAG MINI of Dublin, OH, was for over $7k, so I took it to my local "wrencher" and his estimate was for over $4k ...just too much to pay to repair a 13 year old car.

Jeff take it over to Best & get a third opinion. Your local guy may be a good guy, but he doesn't know MINI's at all. You said he doesn't have a scanner that will even read MINI secret codes. I'm not sure how he can throw a $4000 number when he hasn't even read the codes properly???

The $4k number was based on the other problems the car has and not the code readouts. Given the SES and EML light problems, too, I seriously doubt the car will make it over to Best on its own and I am hesitant to have it transported, because if it is, then how would I get it back here [I sure wouldn't want it transported back here again]? I spoke with Francie today and she told me she is not planning to drive much more anyway, and hopes to give up her driving privileges on her birthday in October. The car is insured til the end of the year, so, at best, I can drive it [locally] til then and then let it go.

Smoked LED side markers on, rotated tires, chameleon film on headlights done, LED DRL ion, side scuttles finished and ready for install, aftermarket from lip prepped (scrubbed, and scrubbed, sanded, and scrubbed) adhesion promoter and 5 coats of plasti-dip after deciding to not wrap it. October is fast approaching, can't wait to see the transformation.
