Thanks! Yes, well actually started this one it was still winter had to wait for all the parts to come in. I do my best work under pressure.
I will be doing the same thing myself Jim. Two projects to do before the Dragon and time is growing short. I simply have no place to work in the winter. Wish I did. Jim
I did, but it is a "free range" garage (I think that is what you called it), with no lights or heat and I not a young as I once was. Jim
Just tie that garage to the hitchin post & bring a lantern with you. The not as young part you'll have to figure out yourself.
My tuits are much more wiggly. Something I've wanted for a couple of years finally got done. Applied AC boot stripes and replacement badge this afternoon. Easy peasy.
Sooooooooooooo, Didn't do anything exciting today except drive to work and I'll be filling up with Shell 93 later today. BUT! My buddy reset all the adaptives on my car over the weekend and I swear it drives better now... more responsive. Is this my imagination or does it make sense? Either way, giddyup!
Makes perfect sense! The computer "learns" driving style and adapts, so when it's cleared it's like starting from new.
I had this really annoying rattle in the exhaust directly underneath the driver's seat when engine was cold. So...I pulled the exhaust hanger plate off and found where it was rubbing. I trimmed a 1/2 inch off the exhaust hanger which was somehow riding against the chassis and wore through the aluminum heat shield, and I also cut a notch in the exhaust hanger plate where it was rubbing too. It was so nice to drive to work this morning without the annoying rattle. :biggrin5:
This thread gots pictures, Jim, it's the post that is running around nekked. And no, I don't really like this 'cause now I've gotta dig out the fool camera and do som'tin with it.
I can't get this vision out of my mind and I don't like it there. Be gone wiggly tuits, be gone and never come back.....
I have faith in ya Friskie, Just pretend they sounded "general quarters" and the camera is you battle station. Jim
I hope this helps you old war horses.... :cornut: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awq90APEVgw]Battle At F-Stop Ridge - YouTube[/ame]
