We get about 24 inches a year and I
have to go to work when it does, so
winter tires on both our cars is very
    desirable.

400 mile roundtrip on the new tires,,,great day, but lots of rain. Those BFGs would have killed me but the Neo Gens proved their worth...in spades!

Not my MINI but I swapped out my friends winter wheels on her MINI. I deep cleaned her summer OZ racing wheels and tires before we bagged them up for storage.

Then she came back an hour later and I did the same thing for her 2017 Honda Type R. OMG are the 20 inch Honda rims heavy with rubber and tires. I put on her new 18 inch OZ’s with winter rubber.

The Black Honda Type R wheels are now stacked in my garage for tomorrow when I clean and strip them, polish, prep and Ceramic coat them. She will get them back next week she drops off the Type R for a full winter detailing, strip, polish, prep and Ceramic coating. The HondaType R does not see much snow but it is ready for it If she needs to drive it.

She has her 2005 MCS with 189K on it as a bad weather beater.

Oh and while out at dinner tonight with friends I was booked for aNother full detail + rims on a first gen GP on Thanksgiving and the week after. who hoo.

Well it's been a few weeks (5 or 6) since I have started Checkers. So I thought today would be good day.

Thanks for the kind words folks. I did indeed get out Sunday afternoon with the classic, the wife, and the dog. The only challenging part of the drive was pulling the shifter back and up for reverse. Other than that, the drive was very refreshing. I like the cold air blowing in the window. My passengers, eh... not so much. With cooler weather coming, my Mini and I will be seeing plenty more Sunday drives.

What did I do with my mini today?
Just got it back from the shop after having to spend $7,400 to have a used engine installed after the freeze plugs blew allowing coolant into the engine. Mini's reply: It's not under warranty!!! First and last mini I'll ever own.

lifetime fluids are magically used in all those places that when something fails ends the life of the vehicle. Even better are those cars that don't even have a dip stick on those fills and you have to trust some ECU sensor.
