Test fit the surround to the "heads up" display that will remove the night time reflection on the windshield. Next up is final welding and then off to powder coating.
Sorry, just some iPhone pics that you see. The curved section is just tack welded to the back plate. It still needs the finish weld to make it all look nice and pretty.
Today I installed my H-sport rear sway and gave my MINI a much needed bath.. No idea what the temp was out there but I got sunburned and probably sweated out a gallon of water lol
Drove my wife's Countryman from Columbus to Lafayette, Indiana. While I enjoyed the comfortable ride, I missed the lowered suspension rough ride that Silverback gives me.
I installed a euro parcel shelf and a CG-Lock on mine, yesterday actually. Today if the rain lets up, I'll install my new vanity plates.
LOL- must be a Dave thing- my husband doesn't drive his car in the rain... neither does another Dave on this site
It's a Pacific NW thing, water actually falls out of the sky! It was even cloudy and rainy today! My penchant for avoiding drives in the rain, in this part of the country, is probably why I only have 7000 miles on my 2010 MINI!:biggrin5: Dave
First we have seen in over a month and the temp was below triple digits, which is why I went out and drove in it. Jim
+1 here. First time I'm saying we needed the rain. Do9n't know if it cools things off or not... but I hope so.
I think we are on day 25 of triple digits with no end in sight... This us why I pay extra so Daphne can spend the day in covered parking!
