Parked outside for the day so I had room in the garage fort the 4 custom wheels below. I am double ceramic coating them with Gyeon RIM. They cost $11,000.00 without tires. They are for the Aston Martin DBS I did last Summer.
Nice wheels! Any thougts on the value of a 2013 MCS in Chili Red, 6 speed? Well maintained, nice unit has been to the Dragon a couple times. Have a friend who might be selling soon due to an extreme illness. Thanks, Don
While my car was outside last weekend I did some garage updates. New toolbox and some new cabinets. Still need to install one more black cabinet. Yes, the color combo matches the car, Black up top with Red on the bottom. After every thing was done and cleaned up I pulled the car in and took off the RMW BVH and FedEx’ed it to JAN for a refresh before it goes on the new motor. That’s what my head looks like after over 80,000 miles with Amsoil or Motul with only Shell 93 and 100% VP M-1 Meth looks like. (Brand new)
She hopes to get it sold before the end, we shall see, nothing be ok from as cancer sucks. I check in weekly, but I imagine I should visit daily if I can. Thank you for the comment, prayers for pain might help.
Don I'm very sorry about your friend. I hope he has more good days then bad. Good thoughts & vibes to him, his family & friend's. I went through this a number of years ago with my best friend. Man what a tough thing it was.
A little nostalgia, camping at Road America and racing. 1978, a nice warm summer, girl friend (now sweet wife), a friend and his wife and his 1976 BWM tii, only one ticket mine driving at 2am ($200) fine trying to get to the morning Saturday practice and races. Overall a great weekend. Sleeping bags, 2 person tent and the back seat of the Bimmer (tight).
BFGoodrich Comp TA/2s maybe? We sell a lot of these at Summit Racing Equipment! (Sorry, my wife has worked at Bridgestone for 25 years. Kinda the local car club expert. Lol)
Doh- yes it was between the BFGs or the ‘stones i mad a compromise Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
A little warm weather heading our way near Akron, Ohio.....got the R50 off it’s storage rollers and out of the garage. Lots of MOTD prep work completed over the winter.......doing some shack down drives this weekend! 548 people and 378 MINIs signed up so far! https://www.minisonthedragon.com/2020-intro.php Leave for MOTD in 64 days!
Come on 400 cars. Today I stopped the dealership and ordered all new OEM coolant hoses and a new dipstick tube and O ring for the new motor going in soon. ( I get a huge discount ) All the parts will be in Monday. Last weekend the RMW BVH came off and was shipped FedEx to Jan in Cali to do his magic “refresh” with new springs, valve seats, and new even larger valves. I have an original RMW BVH “The Jesus Head” with the larger than OEM valves, but still smaller then what can be done now valves. So this seemed like a good time for an upgrade after 80,000 + miles. More power ?
Is this engine with mods going in before this years Dragon? Lots of nice pictures you have been posting. But I am confused. You are refreshing a head and have a super engine to install? Wish I could be be one of the 400 cars, but not this year, perhaps the 20th. Don
