As I go through some slide scanning versus being out and about, I will see if any more good racing pictures show up, maybe even some from the 90s Steamboat races will surface when I was running my Alfa and also trying to work corners. It was a great time in Steamboat. Only a few from the Kansas tracks, but I will look as I have more slides to scan or my sweet wife does. Don
I still plan on being at MOTD (pending any drastic developments) however, my time will be spent in the car and on some bike trails. I rented a cabin on Lake Santeetlah and will have it to myself so no threat of catching anything. It'll be an odd MOTD, but MOTD nonetheless.
The rain has stopped but now it is cold and cloudy. I may climb under the Helmet and see if I can find what's rattling. After reseting the left coil-over it has got better but is not gone. Also anyone know where I can get some tools for adjusting my coilovers?
No hp gain from stickers. Just figured what the heck! Kim made me the custom “37” replica from my dad’s 1970’s stock car, which was hand painted by my mother. So she hooked me up with these stickers too! And this one.....
Since Lady Babs hauled my butt down to the eye sturgeon in the rain on Wednesday I felt I owned her a warsh job for Skooby. Squeaky clean once again.
Went out for a country drive today in the 16 Countryman, it needed to be out after 3 weeks of garage time (self isolation) also needed gas as it was down to 3 clicks. Not many folks out in Boulder Country, Colorado, government mandates etc. Lots of folks out self isolating on their road bikes as Boulder is a 2 wheel mecca for pedal pushers, as usual they were all wearing bright lycra to be seen. Not many folks out competing for road space, but those guys were hogging the road in some places as snow melt was heavy in our hilly spots, they are not into mud on themselves or the 10K race bikes. Lots of sunshine today, but I will say I got premium for $1.55 today with my grocery store discount build-up (Soopers, Kroger store out east). I did use hand sanatizer after filling the tank. Stay safe and healthy, get out as you can with safe distance in mind. Wash your damn hands! Don
I was planning to get the R53 out of hibernation this week but us Ohioans are now locked down. Plugged my toys back in...covered them back up because it’s going to be a awhile before they can come out and play.
Out for a drive should be ok just tell them its therapy and you are self isolated if they would leave you alone.
