That R53 shudda been in another Ohio garage by now, but it sure looks tantalizing with that cover on it.

I'm thinking Mark may not be able to leave owning a MINI behind. Maybe he will when the right flat 6 engine'd car comes his way. ;)

Off with the winter tires. On with the summer higher performance summer tires.
Got it done then went back to the basement office (social distancing is the word) to work.

I was going to get the snow shoes off of Skooby, but Discount Tire my local tire store will only sell tires & repair flats for the time being. Supposed to be warm Thursday so I'll just do it myself. :Dead:

Walked the dog at the parks today...we were the only ones there. Gassed up the R50 and am going to air up the R53 and gas it up later this week. The snows on my R53 will be coming off soon, but those on my wife's will stay on a bit longer as April almost always pushes some snow our way.

Waiting on new RMW BVH from JAN / RMW in Cali.

My old one 80,000 miles of hard running with Meth was showing had small cracks around the spark plugs so I decided on a new core head.

    It’s only money right? :rolleyes::D

I also walked the dog. All the neighborhood dogs know that I have a pocket full of treats, I was mobbed by five dogs plus my own dog, they were all patient and got their goodie. Usually, I only see one or two other dogs. All the dog's parents were there too, we kept our distance. The MINI has been parked since March 12, I haven't left the neighborhood in that time.

My wife keeps dog treats in her pocket too. Its a bribe to get our dog to go on a walk.

I have no problem getting my dog to go for a walk. He starts lobbying for the walk about an hour before its time. He gets me up at seven in the morning and his morning walk is at eight. His evening walk is at five, he starts hopping and complaining at four. The treats are so he stays close and I don't have to put him on a leash. He is a big mooch!

Our dog, Loki, lives for his "pay" after doing the right jobs in the best place [outside]. My wife and I always have his "paychecks" handy when we go walking.

Good call, do it right & only do it once. Cheaper in the long run.

So MOTD is officially cancelled. I'll still be up there for the days I've reserved my cabin. Will be a quiet MOTD this year, upside though, the Dragon won't be too crowded :D

You might want to check with the cabin owners. The state closed down all hotel, lodging and camping.

I've been doing an engine bay refresh... lots of new bits going in:

But today, I'm in the middle of a very small detail mod... One of the things that folks on this board would notice, but few others would.

Had a nice 60 degree day up here in “Lock Down Ohio”, so I threw a set of white Holies w/new RE-71R’s on, torqued the lugs, set their air pressures and adjusted the Koni Yellows......made some valley runs this evening. Zach at Firestone did an absolutely fabulous job balancing my tires, as usual! Gosh this R50 is so much fun to drive quickly! (But always at the posted speed limits)

Ha! It will once again be red at some point in the near future. Right now it's got a coat of primer on it so I can see how smooth the front face is and to check my sanding work.
