Hahahaha...... how did I know I'd see these pics on MA?!

And to be fair... it's not all original paint. The dealership did respray the doors when I had some rust repairs done under warranty. Along with (eventually) a whole new right rear quarter panel to eliminate the taillight rust. Also, under warranty. The left rear taillight area was also reworked and repaired after my sister backed into it a couple years back.

But only the best can really tell.

So a test run of this old girl was reported today. Something about 18 pounds of boost, pulling very hard at 6300 rpm in forth at 110 mph. Now waiting to install the 1000 cc injectors and custom tune for this bigger motor when it hits the Dyno for final fine tuning with Summer wheels on it, not the crappy A/S winter beaters.

My turn to whine. Meant to take skooby out to my eye doctor appointment. But Babs MINI is clean so I had to take the German bread van out in the slop instead. Worth the trip, eye doc says my eyes are now 20/20. Man I'm so happy that part of my life is now done & over. :D

Damn...there go my plans to buy the high end Acura. I sure wouldn't want my new car to be labeled "a crap can of a car"! I guess I'll spend my stimulus money elsewhere.

That isn't an Acura so no worries for you. What it is is the unholy union of Isuzu & Honda. Isuzu supplied the crap can & Honda stuck the H on the grille. :Dead:

Whew! Now, I can hope my stimulus check will cover at least one lug nut on that highest end Acura.

Well, today the RaceR50 gets tamed down a bit. Removing Mini Sleeping Pod, harness bar and harnesses. Installing stock passenger seat back in. My wife is joining me on a little trip to Pittsburgh to help a dear MINI friend who is recovering from achilles tendon surgery. I am taking off her Blizzaks off and putting her summer wheel/tires on. She can’t drive yet, but very soon! Unless we take my wife’s Classic Mini? Lol

Spend Govt Stimulus check at Detroit Tuned. WMW Walmart Motor Works is a rip-off, Alta and M-7 both suck.

You could also spend some of it on a few RMW parts as a down payment.

Put my MINI in the garage and pulled out the air cleaner and washed it out. Waiting for it to driy overnight before I re-oil it.

Where are you staying, I thought Fontana was closed. This morning I told my wife I was thinking about getting up really early, drive 6 hours to the Dragon and come home in one day. My wife told me I am crazy, like after 31 years she did not know that?

Give us all and update when you get home and have an idea of what she can do. Do you love it? Are the 1200cc injectors in and tuned? I think you said 1200. :)

    Enjoy, Don
