Not today, but yesterday. Changed the earl of crankcase on Skooby the clubster. Good for another 5,000 miles. Hope I'm good for that long? :Dead:

Well, Chuck, that might depend on how fast Barbara drives the MINI. The new oil might not last as long as you might hope. 5,000 miles is a pittance in a woman's hands and feet.

Drove my car around yesterday and today. Came home and washed it and tucked it back in the garage.

I'm not worried about Babs going through oil. Her MINI doesn't use any between oil changes. She is a might hard on brake pads. :Stig:

I haven't driven the MINI since March 11, when I took the dog to the vet for a check up. It has been in the carport since then. I washed it the day I parked it. Today, I decided to clean the interior and saw that the outside had a thick layer of pollen on it, I went for a short drive to blow off the pollen and it didn't budge so I washed it.

It was a busy MINI weekend:

The GP came out of the garage and I had some fun putting a few miles on it. It will be my daily driver this week. Yesterday I purchased a slightly used Milltek exhaust to put on the car. It's the non-resonated version and I'm a little hesitant about that, but the price was right and I can always add a resonator if I don't like it.

Yesterday I also got the R52 out of storage and drove it home. It's my wife's DD in the summer.

My Milltek had a resonator on it until it was damaged so badly that I had it taken off. I was worried about the sound increase, but that really has not happened much, so I'm not planning to have another resonator installed.

My Milltek was way too loud without the resonator, but I also have the RMW shorty header....

The only time I miss the resonator is when I really put the pedal down, like on the track. However, I'm no longer tracking my car...just going to MOTD when I can and driving the interstates. It's a bit loud, but not unbearable. Maybe that's because I'm 74...could it be my hearing?

Heck Jeff I was thinking it didn't bother you due to your old ears. ;) I have the same issue.

I'm currently using a RMW shorty header with the JCW exhaust. The Milltek was cheap and I couldn't pass it up so I have to install it and see how I like it.

I liked the JCW exhaust I had on my R53. Although I had the oem header so it was pretty mellow.

Milltek is a great sleeper exhaust as long as you don’t plaster your car with stupid stickers.

I like to suprise people when I go WOT and disappear. Hahahahaha

If you don't like the sound of the exhaust without the resonator I will be glad to buy the exhaust from you for what you payed for it.
Just leave the GP attached to it for me. :D

I took the helmet for a hair cut. I decided I did not want to wait outside and wear a silly mask. Besides the Helmet really didn't need a hair cut. So I drove home and my wife cut my hair for me. The Helmet was unscathed.

DE832DA2-B735-4E97-AA1D-920F519F9C15.jpeg Nail in the top of my left rear sidewall
just past the tread on the inside and only
10 psi. Flat tire light wasn’t on when I got
home yesterday but it sure was this am.
That put a 20’ delay on the start of my day.
Put a snow tire on and ordered a pair of
Michelin PSS4 since after two full summers
there’s a little too much wear to change
just one tire (will use its mate as a spare).
Getting a spare wheel as well. Always
regretted not getting one with my last MINI
when the SSR GT1 went out of production.
