My personal indoor sunlight. I baked the car overnight at it got up to 108 in my garage. Yeah the coating is cured.
I said a car. A Lotus Exige with several mods.If I heard the owner correctly he said its 300HP at the wheels. I am a little hart broken I have to say bye to the Helmet.
I asked an Exige owner once what he liked about the car the most. He said watching a woman wearing a skirt getting in.
I'm an almost-50-year-old man who is 6'4" and way too many pounds. It is NOT easy to get into those cars. I did it, but my extraction was certainly an unpleasant thing to watch. I can't even imagine how one would do it in a skirt (and I can see how it would be very entertaining to watch). I remember reading, many years ago, the purchase story of someone who bought a Lotus in Florida and drove it home to Texas. He got the car home, garaged it and didn't touch it for 3 months because of the discomfort and bone-jarring beating he took on the LA highways in the car. Expansion joints and hard suspensions do not mix well.
Oh yeah... What did I do to my MINI today? I had to wipe the drool off of Rufus. I had a guy out to fix a garage door issue on my wife's side of the garage and he was in love by the time he left a few hours later. Every time I went out to check on him or lend a hand, he had noticed another mod or had another question.
I am 58 and have a little extra weight. I guess when I get it I could post pictures of me getting in it with a short skirt on. But I draw the line at shaving my legs, that wont happen
Yes it does but the intake is a little smaller than on the 2007. The pictures I have the roof is off. It has a lot of mods. It has a TVS900 supercharger along with new coil overs, shifter, adjustable carbon fiber rear wing, and some other mods. I will post some pictures when I get it. I hope next week
Walking around the neighborhood saw this car with a unique transmission. 4 speeds in reverse and one forward.
British car club had a rally today. The wife and I took the Helmet. This is the first time we have done anything with them. They were a great bunch of people. Now my wife is saying she will miss the Helmet.
Took mine out for a drive today and had fun almost loosing grip in 2nd and 3rd. She a strong runner that loves to pull hard all the way to 8K. (Not Stock)
