I just knew there was something in that sammich I had kinda smelled before, but I think that the Helmet gives it a whole new sammich "flavor"...turbo that it is.

Weather is getting colder here in NC... highs are regularly in the mid 50s and we've had a few good freezes overnight. I got the cover off of Rufus on Sunday and took him out for a 15 min spin through the neighborhood, just to get the engine turning / up to temp, the tires turned and the moving bits shaken up a bit.

I still need to replace the rear hatch handle... the screw attachment points cracked, so it's hanging a bit loose. One of these days! I've got a few days off around X-mas and only 1 scheduled project, so maybe I'll get out and do it then.

I was in a bar in Dutch Harbor Alaska, On the wall was a sign that said, "Dutch Harbor isn't the end of the earth, but you can see it from here!"

303 Protectant is going on the interior bits
    and clean the inside glass.

Otherwise listening to the top 2020 greatest
songs ever (number of songs, not the year -
listener selected) on WXPN. It’s been going
on for 3 1/2 days nonstop and they’re about
halfway through the countdown so far.

Not done yet, but I got these after a lot of hemming and hawing. Been following this guy on IG for a while, and these were too good not to pass up. FAR less expensive than the same ones coming out of the UK. Build quality is solid, really well done for an independent guy. Will try to get them in this weekend and update with pics/video.

Digging the cars out of curbside
    parking (no driveway, no garage)
for the third and final time for this storm.
    Waiting for the plumber/hvac for
    our furnace (thermocouple) and
    tomorrow, another contractor for gas
and electric work to get a whole house
    generator installed.
Good thing I’m on staycation this week.

Yesterday I ordered some new aftermarket tail lights for my wife's MINI from Outmotoring. They got here this morning. They are a great company.

Well to answer your question.........today I installed her tail lights and replaced her rear break pads. I don’t know what brain trust at BMW/MINI thought putting the brake wear sensor plug where they did was smart, but the morons should be fired!

    the blinkers are yellow.
The Mercedes on the right is a new addition we picked it up at a estate sale. The couple were moving to Florida and did not want to take it with them. Well the wife didn’t the husband seemed not happy to let it go. The plan is to fix a few things on it and sale it in the spring. My wife named it Foster. She says we are only it’s Foster parents till spring when we find it a new home

Today it's 60* outside, so all of the cars are going to get a bath - and they all need it badly! The classic lives in the garage so it will stay fairly clean, the others it will only last till Thursday where we're expected to get snow!

Oh, also cleaning out the gutters and reattaching one where it's come loose from the soffit - not exactly Mini/MINI work, but it is over the garage - where the Mini/MINIs live!
