I know its sad. I have the Lotus in the garage doing work on it. With all the kids bicycles and stuff I can only get one car in at a time. Its time for a yard sale!

I put the kids bikes and other things out in the weather and put your car inside or do what I did buy a portable garage.

That portable garage would be great in the summer.

It's not bad in the winter either. I don't get any snow but high wings (40-50) and heavy rain and it held up well. It has a steel frame and is anchored with long spikes in to the asphalt. It's 10x20 so there's good room inside. If not your car make room in the garage by putting the bikes and the other thing in the portable.

Today we're in the icy weather, so tinkering happened.

I wanted to do a little "something", and mulled it over, but did a carbon inlay in the vent. I've got a little carbon pin striping tape that will really clean up the contour if need be. It looks much cleaner when the panel is vertical.

Got the grill part done too, I think it was the right call on the mesh.

I got it from SHELTER LOGIC. They have several choices and sizes including custom built.

Crossed another odometer mileage milestone. Without the COVID thing going on, I would have crossed 300,000 by now. Maybe end of year, or next year.

It took me a bit to find a place to stop to take the picture.

Thanks for coming along for the ride.

Research, lots of research... trying to determine all the parts I might need to replace to clear up the dreaded P1498.

I couldn’t find that in the Bentley manual or here. A search showed unmetered air after the compressor. Have you checked the boots on your intercooler?

Mine only did it sometimes. Like going dome the freeway at speed it would just cut out, but I could some times restart it before it would come to a stop. They said it could be from heat. When it got heated it would expand and open up. I have an 2005 MCSa

Did the second panel yesterday. Wraped, grill, cleaned up...Got my little trim tape in today to seal the edges of the carbon inserts up and smooth the curve out.

All in all, I'm pleased with em. I think they'll look pretty sharp once on.

I have a little lighting project from the side scuttles that I may finally use, still on the fence.

    Cleaned up edge
