Spent time putting on the new wheels and cleaning up the calipers. Need to adjust the ride height a little and get it in for an alignment. Happy with the looks. It’s been nothing but rain for the last two months down here so don’t mind the mud Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Drove Skooby the MINI snow machine through the touchless car warsh. Man it looks so much better with the salt removed. I did have a problem at the wash-o-torium. Darn thing wouldn't read my credit card. Maybe all the farts it has been subjected to in my back pocket have killed it. No worries I'll pop a $20 bill in, except it gave me $10 in change in quarters. What the fark? #!*%
Today I took the tire from wife’s mini and had Discount Tire mount a new one. Total cost $35. I also changed the oil in it today.
Today, I took the headliner from my MINI to a local auto interior shop to have it recovered. I can't wait to get it back!
That’s how it all starts. You go start it, sit behind the wheel, rev the motor and before you know it your on the road
Actually yesterday, took the 11 CM to the brushless to get the snow crud off and the dust from having it sit out while contruction continues in the master bedroom. Sadly, dear wife backed the 11 into the contruction guys trailer which was blocking a bit of driveway. Ah crappola. Gues it might be time to see if I have some light bodywork done at 80K miles or look for the next semi-new car for my sweet wife. She does not want to drive the 20 Clubby JCW, miy car, may problem. Suggestions, the 21 CMs are really getting big and access to the local dealer is a factor, she does not like the idea of a 40 mile oneway trip if I cannot take her next one into service. Been looking at Audi and a few others, but lot of the locals are not doing as well this year, so hope they will be around in 2022.
Well I started Checkers today. It coughed a little and tried not to start, but it started on the second try. I let it run a while to heat the oil & water to running temp. All's well.
Vacuumed out the interior of the R53 and the Countryman. Was going to wash the outside, but found out my hose nozzle is broken. Then it started to rain so they both still look like they've been offroading.
took the wheels to have the new tires mounted. I knew I was in good hands when the manager pulled up in a JDM Acura Integra. One of the girls that works there came in and the three of us talked cars. They are into drifting. Both are big gear heads.
