Swapped in an Alta spring upgrade in stock diverter valve (newest version) today.
Subtle difference but I haven’t had time to
check it out very thoroughly yet.
Getting over first of 2 kidney stone
surgeries so putting in the Wagner
    Competition Intercooler will have to
    wait a little while.
At least I got the oil leak taken care of
last week (top front timing chain bolt had
backed out a bit even though it had never
been touched before — only 47K miles now, bought it 3 years ago at 28K).

Two kidney stone surgeries. Ouch, hope you are 100% soon. Take care, the MINI can wait.

Had Checkers smog done Friday. Passed like usual so now I have to put the cai back on. Wash it yesterday looks great. I have to make time to take it on the road a little more. When the the smog guy checked I had put on a hundred miles since the last time I had the car registration done.

Finally got around to replacing the battery. Had to soak up a bit of water out of the bottom of the battery box, but I've seen worse in other cars. Was thinking of an aftermarket battery, but decided on a factory MINI(BMW) battery.

Washed the Helmet today. Then put the fitted cover on it then a generic waterproof cover over that. The Memphis sun and heat are taking their toll.

Interesting that no one mentioned that you should add on space to your garage so you could protect your pride and joy. I mean, after all what are friends for if’n they can’t help you spend your hard earned money. :D

Go buy a storage shed and put the bikes and crap in it so you can put your car inside.

Used the SYLVANIA Headlight Restoration Kit
on the driver headlight (I replaced the
passenger side a year or two ago and it
still looks brand new). Had polished the
driver side twice over the last couple years
but the yellowing and haze return fairly
quickly since I didn’t use a product that
included a protective UV coat then.
Great results and hopefully it will last
    a lot longer this time.
Also did the front fog light lenses.

Yea we were looking at one the other day but it was like a one car garage. We were thinking I could put the motorcycles in it and I would have a small place to work on them then my wife could have the one car bay for her lawn stuff and storage. Clean out the other side of the garage so we could get two cars in there. I wish I could build a separate garage/work shop.

That looks good. Now take a good look at your car. What will it look like in 6 mos of seating out side.
