I’ll mentioned it if they can’t figure all this out. They are looking at it now. They did a reset and said the windows are working. They are running a test on the footwell module, supposedly it has something to do with window operations.

Well after a few hours they figured out that it is the door lock actuator causing all the problems. Just put it on order and should have it installed by the end of next week.

I think there was a recall on the footwell module about 8 or 9 years ago. Check it out if you didn't have it done already. Possible your car was included in that recall.

I didn't do anything with the MINI today... or for the last week. When I bought the new Audi, I figured I would still drive the MINI on nice weather days. Today was a nice weather day. I'm not driving it enough. Maybe I should sell it. But, although it is a good looking car that drives well, it is 15 years old, so I'm not going to get much money for it.

    Decisions. decisions.

Yes your MINI is old & won't bring a ton of money. That being said used car prices are at historic highs & you may get more now than you think. Tough choices.

I sold my MINI seven years ago. It wasn't an easy choice, but orthopedic doc said I had to stop kicking a clutch. My plan was to buy an R56, but after a test drive I really didn't care for that car. Ended up with a GTI & I'm very happy I bought it. Yes I missed my MINI for a bit, but life goes on. If I hanker to drive a MINI I'll take Lady Babs Skooby to the car warsh.

CD do what is best for you.....

You might consider picking up a booster. I have a Norco GB40 Lithium jump starter box. I picked it up on Amazon.

Thanks for all the feedback on my MINI dilemma. I really do love that car. Maybe when Spring arrives, I will drive it more.

If I do decide to sell it, I will post it here first. I would like it to go to someone who will treat it right. I would hate to see it go to some teenager who will trash it, although there are very few people under the age of 40 who even know how to drive a stick.

    "What's driving a stick, bro?"

    "Hey.... You spilt my latte...."

"I just downloaded the new Lime app..... Don't you just hate it when people won't get out of your way on the sidewalk"

"I'll be getting a High and Tight at my barber's today.... Think it'll blend in with my beard OK?"

"Nice satchel for your Ipad...... Gawd... I hope that's not real leather"
