    Installed the CravenSpeed stubby antenna today. Also received the GoBadges two badge holder. New EBC Redstuff brakepads are in, Defenders of Speed CAI, a few decals too. Much to install on the MINI this weekend.

    I got the A/C refilled and put the header heat shield back on.

    Drove it more too.

    Even went out twice in the same day, very odd for me.

    Sounds good to me! Did you keep the resonator or cut it out as well? What Flowmaster did you use? Is there a resonating drone at highway speeds in 6th gear?

    I only ask because I'm looking at my options now.

    Are you going to leave it as-is or are you going to put a different exhaust tip on it?

    Installed the new rims and tires. Also put my rear splash guards on while I had the tires off.....

    I left the resonator in, and used this muffler. Flowmaster Mufflers - The Exhaust Technology Company

    I don't notice any drone... and can hold a conversation unless I don't want too. :wink:

    I will record a video tomorrow going up a good hill, and at highway speeds. Will post an update in the next day or two.

    Exhaust tip.... I plan on putting on a real tip, hopefully tomorrow evening.

    Drove in from the Coast this morning and got home with 80 miles of fuel left in the tank. That's another respectable 300 mile round trip....

    Sadly, nothing since Wednesday night.
    He was immaculately detailed by Dave.O

    So ever since he has been safely tucked in the garage and will remain there until I leave for the Dragon :cornut:

    Man, I washed the heck outa mine. Top to bottom, front to back, inside too. I even cleaned the engine room. I'm tuckered, but my MINI gleams. :D

    Ok, so I finished my pre-Dragon running around today.
    Also vacuumed out the MINI and it's packed all except the little last minute stuff :Thumbsup:

    Been driving around Hickory and surrounding areas looking at houses and stopped at the DIY car wash to get all the billings n road dirt off from yesterdays travel. Of course it will be washed again before we leave for Dragon and once there and so on and so on....
