After I replaced the HID bulbs in Skooby I noticed that the driver side headlight warsher was DOA. Rather than spend $98 on a new one I took a gamble & bought a used one for $39. Slapped it in & all is good. No more dry headlights. Not a bad job 20 minutes for this old fart. Think I need a nap now.... :Dead:

My bone doctor was able to make my left knew work better without pain -- or surgery. But, stop and go driving is still a pain, but in the a$$.

My MINI is fixed, and back home. I need to do a couple of simple things, then put it up for sale. I've been fighting those little voices telling me, "Maybe you should keep it, now that is all fixed." But, I just spent about 1/4 of the car's current value fixing it. :Banghead:

A 94,000 mile 2007 R56S that most likely is not as nice as yours just sold $8,500 on BaT. And for what it’s worth I hate bumper to bumper stop and go traffic no matter kind of vehicle I’m driving.

Its about to storm here is I tried to make sure the car cover is very secure on the Helmet. Bungee cords front back and across the middle. They say it will be a bad blow.

It was bad enough to have a National Disaster Fire come almost to the house on Dec 30th, I would not want to think about the tornadoes all you folks get down in the South and East, bad enough we had another major fire last weekend that made 18000 people evacuate for 3 days. I cannot even think about wrapping both minis in bungee and a cover outside. Think of a storm cellar garage combo, maybe even a 4 car unit. :) :)

    Hope it went well.

Well the Helmet made it and my bungee cords worked. :D If the Lotus had not been taken apart in the garage it would have been the one with bungees around it.

This is not about my MINI but yet it is. I took my MINI to a repair shop a couple of months ago to have a few things done and they did a good job. So i thought I'd try them with the wife's car (SLK350) . I picked up the car yesterday and they seemed to have done a good job except all the paper work say it's the MINI not the wife's car. You would think they would know the difference.

Is that for use with a powa warsher? I have one that goes on the hose, but it leaves a lot to be desired.

Looks like it does a nice job but sometimes looks can be deceiving. Does it really help with the washing your car ??

Just was wondering how your neighbors like the foamy residue running down the street gutters....

Were I live there is a do it yourself car wash 1 block from me. So it works well for me. Soft water and spot free rinse.
