Got my bright work back today. What I can see it looks real good. In a day or two I'll take some pictures before I install them. i
No I did not….small phone, arthritic fingers, and old eyes….a combination that virtually guarantees failure at some point.
I know this is old school, but my phone is a phone. I don't text or surf the web on my phone. If I have something to say to someone I'd rather talk in person not waist my time texting.
I don't mind texting. When I drive it takes my mind off all the traffic. Actually I find it is a great way to stay in contact with family & friends. Maybe I feel that way because I'm so young & hip.
I love texting. It lets me ask a question and get an answer back on the other person's timeframe. I'm minimizing the intrusion into whatever they are doing. I don't have to have a 5 min phone call about "Hi. How are you doing? How's your mother? Has her gout cleared up?" and I can get an answer to "Hey... mind if I keep the serpentine belt tool another few days and return it on Saturday afternoon?" when it's convenient for them to answer.
Both of you are probably right, but all I see are people on their phone checking what seems to be a lot of messages or reading the news. That's not me.
I see it both ways. Like @agranger said it is great for questions but I hate having long conversations over testing. I would rather talk like @checkers said. At work a bus comes gets us at the plane and takes us into operations. The busses go by several plans so there are several crews riding in. Before the fancy phones crews would talk about the flight and other events. Now it’s quiet everyone looking at their phones. I will turn mine on and check that my wife or kids have not left a massage. Then it goes in my pocket till I am off the buss.

Then find a geek that can solder surface mount parts.
Help. Anybody know an easy way to replace the boots on the intercooler? I have done it before but I'm not as strong as I use to be.
