The year I took the Helmet to the Dragon I was amazed how fast it can corner.

I can confirm that little black coupe does indeed corner flat. Great car you have there Lee.

This has nothing to do with my car, but I thought I'd say something about the weather here. I shop every Tuesday at 6:00am and it was 76 degree's and about 5 or 6 mph wind. What a great Moring, but wait till this afternoon about 115 degree's. Oh well you can't have it all.

Not yet, and I am not sure if I will ask.
I may wait and see if it fails, and then push for a new can.
I did notify them I did attempt to get it re-welded.

Climbed under the car to get a quick pic for documentation

That ain't purdy, but if it holds you're good. I'd guess you'll be seeking a new can in a while.

I agree, not pretty and I suspect it will last 6 months to a year as vibration will kill that weld. Did they well with unit on the car, if so explains the ragged result.

Yes, welded while it was on the car.. it was a quick/cheap job.
When it fails I am hoping Borla will honor their warranty.
I've been very happy with the exhaust till now, and it still sounds and looks great (except for the weld which I cant see unless the car is on a lift)

Here’s hoping that Borla does the honorable thing if and when you need them next time.

Put new struts on the bonnet, boot and replaced the wheel arch i lost last week. Trying to decide on seats, OEM just doesn't seem to be worth it.

]Put new struts on the bonnet, boot

I replaced mine a couple of years ago. I got a pretty good deal on the struts (4 for $23 dollars ). They are a little stiffer than stock but work very well.

Are you trying to recover your original GP seats or looking to replace the original seats altogether ?? If’n I’m reading RealOEM correctly just replacing the original seat covers is an insanely expensive proposition.

The skins are crazy expensive. Driver seat also needs a new heating pad, also not cheap. For the price I would pay to fix, IMO and uncomfortable seat, I could buy a complete after market set. I am leaning towards Corbeau because you can get the seats heated. There are three models in the running, A4 - GTS II - RRX.

At a very quick glance I think I like the GTS II the best.
