Honest to gawd, turned the crystal ball on this morning and opened up this thread and there was an ad at the top of the page: "Harry's - Good razors cost too much, so we fixed it." How'd dey do dat?

Did you click on the link in Metalman's post #2? You're being tracked. Razor ads may also start to appear when you go to other websites. I use browser extensions that block tracking.

Don't have to click on the link. Google adsense can deduce from the subject matter of the thread that there would be a high probability that this thread is a good place to show a shaving ad. Start adding in brand names of internet advertisers and a silent bidding war happens in the background to show a relevant advertisement.

 

I use what ever is the current Gillette blade and a shaving brush and soap. Hot suds give a really good shave.

 

So, if I just type 'SEX' then Maggie's Whore House will start sending me likely link(up)s?

 

Not on here. Years ago I set up filters to keep ad's of that sort from being displayed.

Great razors....good price....
I don't use a automatic shipping plan....I just do a bulk order every 3-4 months to get free shipping and the lowest price per razor ....
Honestly, they are so much better than the store bought ones....and that is sad...we have a stadium here in the area called Gillette, and a huge downtown faculty in Boston labelled "world shaving headquarters" with the same name on the side...always thought they were pretty good....
But tried Harry's ....never looked back....they feel better....no cuts...last longer, and are cheaper.

 

Yeah....but if it didn't, how could we do a quick search for depends adult diapers on a friend's computer.....then laugh as they see adds for them for months......

 

Kind of like the old days of pagers. My co-woerkers and I loved to send phone numbers to each others pagers to really embarrassing establishments. The guy in the cubicle next to me was really gullible. I can't tell you how many times I heard, "Dammit Glenn" at my desk.

That and joke phone calls. Although, I did once get a call from a guy named Richard Head. I was sure it was one of my co-workers messing with me, but did not recognize the voice. I took a quick look at the company directory, and there really was a Richard Head, and he out-ranked me big-time. I am so glad I didn't follow my impulses and ask, "Do your friends call you Dick?"
