OK I really don't know much about the subject but I say good on the British people for regaining their sovereignty! What ever short term/long term losses there are I would think would be worth it. About 200 years ago another country did it and it turned out fine. I say Gods speed Great Britain I am pulling for you!

Why is everyone singing doom and glom? Why would anything change for the worse at all?

What does leaving the EU do that's negative for Britain? They must have thought this thru otherwise why do it? OTOH, Britain gains independence from the EU's trade practices? Which means what to them exactly?

I'd like to know more, but I don't think anyone can really say what will happen, if anything at all.

I think this was driven by immigration law more than anything else, Britain wants control of it's borders again. I agree with MSC02, good for them to be back in charge of their own affairs without influence or control from others.

I also think it will be several years before anything concrete can be laid directly at the feet of this referendum.

Plus, I hear there's now a referendum to reverse the last one.......
